    Always have on hand

    By SA12 on Feb 25, 2021

I ALWAYS have this on hand! We started using this product many years ago when out dog's Ophthalmologist suggested using it (in addition to other RX for our dog with dry eye). He also suggested using it BEFORE our dogs get groomed to help lubricate their eyes and protect them, particularly with the air from the dryers which can be drying and irritating.

    Dry eye relief

By Babs on Dec 31, 2020

Much cheaper in price than Optimune and works even better. My dogs doesn't seem to mind the application of this salve as much as Optimune.

    Dry eye supplement

By BassetMama on Oct 14, 2020

Used between OTC lubrication drops. Keep stored w tip down so product can dispense. Difficult to instill when holding a dog & trying to get goop into tip.

    No go on this product

By Dexter on May 5, 2020

Personally, this product didn't work and I had to go with a prescription based product that Chewy offered as well. I applied it as instructed and my dog's reaction didn't go well. His eye actually got worse with redness and more itching. I stopped it's use immediately and went back to warm, moist compresses until the other prescription arrived. Once stopping his eye got better. The other script based product is working much better now. Marked improvement.

    By Laurie67 on Jun 30, 2020

My dog has dry eye and sometimes needs something between his meds and eye wash. This fills the gap beautifully!

    Optix care with Hyaluronic Acid

By Mary on Mar 27, 2020

The Optixcare with Hyaluronic acid seems to work much better for my older pug. Since you were out of stock a few weeks ago, I had to order plain Optixcare. He has the worst case of dry eye I have ever seen. Please let me know when it’s in stock again! Thanks, Mary

    Helps with dry eye

By DivaDivine on Apr 18, 2020

Both my dogs suffer from dry eye as they age. They are on Optimmune, but the Optixcare helps with retaining moisture way better that artificial tears.

Best option for dogs with eye issues

By TexasBuddy on Jan 10, 2020

Optixcare was prescribed for my dog by Texas A&M following proton radiation therapy to her head for a nasal cancer. The radiation affected her tear ducts. While they told me I could use human products such as Genteal, having dry eye myself I know how expensive those products are (usually $10+ for a quarter of an ounce) I decided to check chewy to see if they had this. Very happy to find it non-prescription. Works great, easy to dispense and a fraction of the cost of the human products -- chewy comes through again!

By QueenBee on Jan 3, 2020

I have two who use this every day. Great product for dogs with dry eye conditions. I use this on my 14 year old Maltese and my 10 year old Cavalier King Charles....really works well.
