My African grey is very picky with his food , and he is on a pellet diet and gets a small amount of seeds and I feed him a home made meal I call hot mix which is a Varity of fruits, veggies , beans.legumes just to make sure he is getting a proper diet . but his feathers started looking drab so I knew about this company years ago & did use for a parrolet that I rescued so knowing it has helped the parrotlet I got a bag , well Taz dosen't like it , I put on his hot mix & really have to mix it in or he won't eat , not sure if it has a bad taste or the grittiness , I have been giving it to him for about a month & did noticed a slight change in his feathers , I will continue until bag is gone & if a big difference I will continue .

Yuck as in do my finch roommates like the smell. They don’t like pellets at all. I think it is partly they like husking seeds in their beaks and now I wonder if

Yuck as in do my finch roommates like the smell. They don’t like pellets at all. I think it is partly they like husking seeds in their beaks and now I wonder if it is the smell also. When I feed them the new mix with the orange oil, one with a dusting of their vitamins one without, they prefer the seed mix without the vitamins. They don’t have taste buds so it isn’t the taste. Maybe if the pellets with the vitamins built in had a scent they would eat without having to be starved and then I wouldn’t need the supplemental vitamins.

Happy feeding for my "kids"!

My birds love The Missing Link. They reffuse food if I forget to put it on their food. So im never without it. They molt but feathers come in fast and shiny. Love
