About Modesto Milling

Modesto Milling was established in 1974 as a dairymen’s co-op. In 1997, a group of local dairymen convinced the Board of Directors to start manufacturing organic dairy grain mixes. By January 1998, Modesto Milling gained its organic certification from Oregon Tilth of Salem, Ore. They became the first organic grain processor in Central California, and ever since, Modesto Milling has been manufacturing high quality organic feed for many different types of livestock.

Outdated / expired everytime

I've got this Modesto Milling pig pellets 5-6 times. Every bag is always 8-9 month expired. Always lots of dust throughout bag.

For the first 4 years of Max's life he got a different brand of feed that was around $60 for a 20 pound bag. It was just getting too expensive so we switched to Modesto. He absolutely loves this food and it has kept him at a healthy weight. I would highly recommend this! We tried a few others that he wouldn’t even touch (yes he is THAT pig haha) but he loves this brand. He’s been on Modesto for a little of a year and still looks great!

I have been using Modesto mini for several months now and I’m curious. Has anyone. Noticed their pigs eyes running, the rusty brown goo? Also I don’t think their skin has improved. I’ve tried so many brands, I was hopeful with Modesto. Also a few times I’ve gotten bags that had a lot of dust in the bag.

I just switched to this food and with a couple of days my pig's skin was no longer rusty and crusty. I am shocked how quickly my pig's skin has improved! I highly recommend and I will never go back to the other brand.
