According to Montana Premium Forage, these hay pellets are never sprayed with Glyphosate during any stage of growth. The brand does use some less harsh, broadleaf herbicides once in a while to control noxious weeds in the fields. But that is very minimal use, maybe only once every 4-5 years.

The BEST alfalfa pellets

I’ve tried tons of brands of alfalfa pellets, and none of them compare to these. As soon as I open a bag, i can smell how fresh they are. Beautiful fresh green pellets

I’ve tried tons of brands of alfalfa pellets, and none of them compare to these. As soon as I open a bag, i can smell how fresh they are. Beautiful fresh green pellets that soak fast! 15 mins in cold water and they’re good to go! I don’t have hot water or a heated grain room to soak overnight in the winter, and these alfalfa pellets are a game changer. If you’re looking for alfalfa pellets that don’t take 4+ hours to soak, these are the ones!

High quality product

I feed these alfalfa pellets to three OTTBs that could use extra protein in the cold months. They all love them, even the one who is a bit picky about alfalfa pellets

I feed these alfalfa pellets to three OTTBs that could use extra protein in the cold months. They all love them, even the one who is a bit picky about alfalfa pellets in his feed. I don’t soak these pellets and just mix them in with their normal feed. The pellets are not super hard and are easy for them to eat. They also have a nice green color to them.

I bought these for treat training and the horses love them! One of the horses tends to eat people’s hands with treats, but these make her slow down to find them

I bought these for treat training and the horses love them! One of the horses tends to eat people’s hands with treats, but these make her slow down to find them all. The change was pretty instant. Pellets are also high quality, not at all dirty or dusty. If you are wondering if it is worth it to get only 40lbs instead of 50 for the price, it is.

Love these pellets. They breakdown better than Standlee.
