I had high hopes for this litterbox but for some reason it has been causing so many issues for my cat. although he always pees in the middle of the box, there is an issue with pee welling up on the liners as it goes through and it spills out onto the floor below the litterbox. every few days we have to take it all apart to clean it and there is always pee on the floor. not totally sure why this is happening

I've had this xl box for 2 weeks and so far, I really like it. Tracking pine dust is all but eliminated. Very easy to clear out the poop and sift the dust into the retainer pan. This is the 'primary' pan that they all prefer to go into - frequently at the same time (there's 5 of them). They do use the other pans in the house but those are about to be replaced with the smaller version of the xl pan. There are 2 drawback. One is the depth, they kick out the pellets. I wish fhe front wasn't so low. Second is the tricky lifting. If you're not careful and pine dust is in corners, it will end up on the floor. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?
Best Pine Litter Box

This has nearly eliminated all spent pine litter castings from being tracked all over the house. Before, the litter area would be littered with pieces of used litter if we didn’t sift every day or other day, so I was on a search for a litter box with gaps big enough to let the spent pine fall through Previous to pine pellets, I used a bougie self washing machine with plastic pellets that was expensive and drove me crazy with finding litter even in our bed, two floors up from where the litter box was! This has had a big impact on the cleanliness and frequency of sweeping that I’ve had to do with four cats. This is my second box I’m buying and I’m very happy with the product.
