These Native Pet Care Hip and Joint Air Dried Chews are EXACTLY what the Doctor Ordered! Not only are they Excellent for any Dog w/a bit of mobility issues but they’re the perfect size to give as a treat too. Daisy Mae doesn’t even know they’re medicine! They must be delicious bc she begs for them. (It’s hard to get a pic of her actually eating one bc they’re small and she’s too quick!) I noticed Daisy was just laying on the front porch Watching the squirrels. That was so unlike her. I started giving these to her and Boy oh Boy! Did that do the trick! Those varmints were making sounds that I’ve NEVER heard come out of a Squirrels! These are Fantastic! They sure did the trick for Daisy!

Easy to open bag. My dogs love the taste. My dogs are currently on another supplement containing glucosamine and chondroitin among other ingredients. I wasn't seeing much change in my 12-year-old dog that is known to have arthritis. Adding this product which also contains collagen and hyaluronic acid I have seen an improvement in his mobility over the past couple of weeks, although I feel like I won't have a true result until the first bag has been given completely

It is difficult to assess in such a short amount of time whether or not this is an effective joint relief product as we've only had it for a couple of weeks & it's such a small sample. Joint relief products require months to assess their efficacy. That said, I can attest that my 11+ year old Shih Tzu loves them as treats, and she's a picky girl. So they must taste good. And they seem well tolerated as there's been no change to her stool, no stomach issues & her appetite remains stable. I'll check back later with more info regarding their effect on her aging joints.

Not for Sensitive Bellies

Usually, love Native Pet products, but this one did not agree with my dog at all and was causing my dog to throw up after eating. He does have a sensitive stomach

Usually, love Native Pet products, but this one did not agree with my dog at all and was causing my dog to throw up after eating. He does have a sensitive stomach to some new treats and supplements, and we gave this a try for 4 days to see if it would benefit him. He was good the first 2 days on it, but on the 3rd day and now the 4th day, he's thrown up his breakfast, and this is the only thing new added to his diet. He's turning 5 this year, so I wanted to add more supplements to his diet. Moreover, the chews arrived completely flatten and crushed from transit, and the bag's resealed tab, completely broke upon opening and I had to use a clip to seal the bag. Not sure if I got a bad bag or not.

I am always looking for a good hip and joint supplement for my seniors. Pleased to report this is one of two acceptable treats I may feed my picky eater, and I have tried A LOT. (Luckily the other one will eat anything) But said picky eater also only has 3 teeth, and I was worried when I saw these are air dried various sizes of jagged treats. He didn't care. Did not have trouble eating them. They are soft and easy to tear into smaller pieces. So far, I have liked any product I have tried from native pet.

My only complaint is the pull to open tab. It ripped right through the resealable portion, rendering it useless. I store these in my own resealable container due to this.

I have two dogs, one will eat these right up! The other dog will not eat them, BUT, he is super picky about everything he eats so not a surprise there. In the past I've tried two other 'chews' for joint mobility for my dogs and neither one would eat those chews. This one, air dried, my Great Pyr loves them! As far as how effective they are, time will tell but so far the fact that she eats them every day is a big win for me! The price is decent on these as well. I will consider ordering these in the future especially since she will not eat any of the other more expensive and vet recommended chews. If the dog won't eat them, doesn't matter how well they work.

I'm not sure how long it should take to see effectiveness, but so far after 3 weeks of use, I have not noticed any change. That said, I am going to continue using until they are gone. My dog likes the flavor so it's not hard to give them.
