Has a scent and taste that both of my pups love.

I have one pup that has become finicky about eating her dry kibble. I wanted something to add that wouldn't add too many extra calories as both of my pups are on a weight management diet. I sprinkle just enough to intrigue their taste buds and scent. This seems to work very well with my finicky eater...the other one would eat anything anyway...lol! I have added some water for more of a gravy which both have licked the bowls clean. Unfortunately, we were in the process of home renovations so I was also giving calming chews (no brand related to the Native Pet powder) so after a couple of days of offering both, my girls had diarrhea. Therefore, I have had to place on a bland diet and cannot rule out which resulted in the diarrhea, but I suspect it was the calming chews. After a week on their bland diet, and stools have once again become formed, I placed them back on their original diet so will see if the diarrhea once again occurs or not, but I believe it was due to the calming chews. I will update my report if the diarrhea returns after being on just the kibble and the bone broth powder. Otherwise, my rating will remain at 5 stars.

If my senior dog’s gastrointestinal system would have tolerated this, I would have given it 5 stars! I liked the limited ingredient list, that it’s organic, it’s easy to use too. I introduced it slowly, her limping stopped, her coat looked shiny. But, alas, her sensitive senior gut eventually seemed to be disturbed by it. She wound up with loose stools which led to clogged butt glands, not fun for either of us!

I rotate which one I add into my dog's food during mealtime so it's more interesting than just adding hot water to dry food. Since it's a powder, it stores for a long time and I really like it!

We use this broth to make frozen treats in silicone molds for Woof Balls. It's become a nightly ritual for Aspen to demand bark after every dinner. Keeps her busy for about 20 minutes and she is getting great quality Chicken Bone Broth. I like that I can make up a batch as needed. The tin container keeps the powdered broth fresh until needed.

Dogs love it

The dogs love this on their food. It's a good addition for them and I use it as a broth to help soften the dry food and add more flavor. I make it in a shaker cup

The dogs love this on their food. It's a good addition for them and I use it as a broth to help soften the dry food and add more flavor. I make it in a shaker cup and pour a little over their food and keep the remainder in the fridge. The only complaint is that it does not mix well in water and settles when sitting, but it's nothing that isn't resolved by shaking before using.

Lacey is only 16 lbs currently so the Bone Broth states 1/2 tablespoon for dogs up to 25 lbs. I put a bit dry on my finger and let her lick it. She seemed to like it. I added to her p.m. kibble with some cooked carrots and added some warm water. She gobbled up every bit of her bone broth/carrot/kibble dinner. She seems to like it and it agrees with her.
