Feeding Instructions
Adult Cat: Feed 2 pouches per 5 lbs of body weight per day.
Your cat should always have access to clean, fresh water. Feed at room temperature and refrigerate unused portion. Feed according to the age, size and activity of your cat.
Transition Instructions
When switching your pet's diet, we recommend transitioning from the current diet to any new Natural Balance Formula over a 5-7 day period. Replace 25% of the current diet with new Natural Balance Formula each day until they are fully transitioned. If you do not have any of your current formula to mix, reduce the amount of formula fed for the first few days, feeding smaller more frequent meals and increase over time. If your pet is more sensitive to change, please allow 10-14 days to fully transition onto the new formula.

Requires Work To Prepare
The flavor of the cat food is well liked and easily digested by our four cats. However, if your cat is particular about the size, shape, or consistency of its food, then it may take some extra time and work to prepare. Also, all varieties of the Natural Balance Platefuls have a lot of vegetables as fillers, (the flavors with peas having the most), so I first have to pick out all the vegetables my carnivorous cats won’t eat. Then I use a fork to mash it into a pate because the meaty chunks are way to big. Then I mix whatever gravy is left back in and serve. Amounts of gravy is almost always inconsistent in every case of pouches we purchase. Because our cats like the flavor and no vomiting after eating it, we’ve been going through this mealtime process for several years but it’s not ideal.

While I wish the morsels were tinier, I just mash them up a bit by squeezing the pouch and then mashing the food with a fork; it thickens up the gravy, which is the main attraction for LunaBoo.
Not what I expected
These packets didn't agree with my cat Wessy, a 13 year old ginger tabby. Every time I fed him this food he vomited.

My cat has a very sensitive stomach and throws up a lot of things he eats so we have to be careful what he gets. He goes banana-balls for this food and keeps it down. Thank Natural Balance for making quality food for my boy!
