Cane Molasses is used as a natural colorant and flavor. Sucrose is sugar which is an organic compound. It is used in these products as a natural preservative, by lowering the water activity of the product and preventing bacteria growth. This keeps the product shelf stable & enhances palatability.

Very disappointing

My one dog is elderly and has trouble chewing really tough treats, but he likes them of a good size so he can lay down and chew them a while like he used to. But

My one dog is elderly and has trouble chewing really tough treats, but he likes them of a good size so he can lay down and chew them a while like he used to. But these were beyond soft - they were crumbly. Only one survived at its original length, and when I took it out of the bag, it broke into many pieces. Not what I expected.

We had an issue with freshness and broken pieces in a couple shipments but I’m confident the issue will be resolved with the manufacturer, as this is the first time we’ve had an issue. Treats are soft and the perfect size for my doge to have a bigger treat than bite sized. They LOVE them! I give these as gifts to friends with pets.
