Is it safe to ingest-licking?

Natural Dog Company balms are 100% natural, safe, and edible; these products will still work even if most of the balm is licked off. However, for best results, we advise using distractions to allow the balm time to absorb. Give your dog a long-lasting chew, a treat, their dinner, or play with them for a few minutes until Skin Soother has had a chance to work its magic.

Can this be used on their face near their eyes and ears?

This balm should be applied at least 1/2 inch away from the eyes. For ears, it is recommended using the "Natural Dog Company Dog Wrinkle Balm" as it is a milder formula and better suited for sensitive areas. It can be used on the underside of the ears but should not be applied down in the ear canal.

Can this be used on the chest of the dog.

We recommend applying at least 2-3 times daily. Frequent application to open wounds is important to protect against infections and to kill any existing harmful bacteria. Be sure to generously, covering the entire area. Decrease use with improvement.

It did seem to sooth

I thinking the soothing aspect of this was great. But it's hard to not get a dog to lick. Everytime I put it on her, twice she would vomit afterwards. Though

Saw improvement overnight

I gave my dog a bath, applied this to a hot spot that was forming under my dogs tail, and put him in a cone for the night so he couldn't lick it all off. In the

Even texture and much less redness. I've never seen a topical product for dogs (non-prescription) work so quickly.

As soon as I put this on his skin, he stopped digging into his fur and seemed so at ease and was acting more comfortable than I had seem him since his grooming. Seems to be a great product.
