Before I rescued my doberman mix, she had been severely neglected and abused. Her nose was incredibly dry from being denied acces to water to the point where it was cracked and separated. I knew she needed some relief and this was not something that could heal on its own. After applying this snout balm several times a day for a week, small dried up bits of her nose began to crumble off and she finally started to heal. After a couple weeks of consistent use, her nose is moist and back to normal! No separation or cracking! Very thankful for this amazing product. Just make sure to properly introduce it to your dog, or they may try to wipe it off or avoid application.

Our male 6 year old American Bulldog started developing a scaly dried out nose last year. We tried a different product that came in a tin that was very difficult to open and was not at all effective. Not only did it take awhile to "melt" the nose butter in your hand before applying, it was messy and did nothing to help his nose. I found this stick of snout soother and decided to try it and I am so happy we did! First of all, this thing is huge! It is much bigger than I anticipated, but in a good way! The diameter of the snout soother tube is large enough we only need to do one generous swipe across his nose every night to get enough product on his precious little pig snout. It glides on very smoothly, does not have a scent, and soaks in within minutes. He doesn't especially like it, but he tolerates it much better than us trying to rub in another product with our fingers. In under a week his nose went from scaly and dry to perfectly moisturized! The size of this stick means we will not need to replace it for some time, but I assure you that when we do need more we will be buying this brand!

I simply put it on, rubbed it in, gave my girl a treat, and within a little over one week, her nose looked beautiful. I didn't have to reapply for months after that. Works great and lasts a long time. Eliminated her scratching her nose on the carpet.

I bought this product because of the good reviews, but unfortunately my dog had a terrible experience. I applied Snout Soother and initially my dog was okay. After about 30 seconds he started to aggressively paw at his nose. This was more than him just trying to get it off. He went to his bed and started wiping his nose and pawing at it. Then he started to whimper. That’s when I knew that this was much more than him trying to get it off. He seemed like he was in pain.
