Wet the coat thoroughly. Apply shampoo and work it into a thick lather, massaging it into the coat and skin. Leave the shampoo on your pet for several minutes before rinsing well. It does not require dilution.

Scent not good for my Newfie

The scent of the shampoo and conditioner was too sweet. It didn’t leave my Newfoundland, Sampson smelling as fresh and clean as the shampoo and conditioner I usually use in him. Sampson has had to have an increase to his medications for a condition he had so I tried to cut corners and purchase less expensive grooming essentials for Sampson. The products I bought did have excellent prices but the out come of the bath was disappointing. I only bath my Newfoundland two times a month because he is so big, (200 lbs.), so I like him to smell very clean in between his baths. When the shampoo and conditioner are so sweet smelling that scent combined with the more oily skin of a Newfie is not as pleasant as a shampoo that isn’t so fruity smelling. But, lesson learned.

My dogs fur was left silky soft

Before I started using this shampoo I was using a chlorohexidine shampoo on him. It practically dry his fur out and made it dull. Then I started him on this shampoo

Before I started using this shampoo I was using a chlorohexidine shampoo on him. It practically dry his fur out and made it dull. Then I started him on this shampoo in hopes to fix my mistake. It did help with his fur it became shiny and soft again and it looks healthy. I paired it with the conditioner which made his fur look amazing again.

Iv noticed my dog was scratching more and decided to find a shampoo and conditioner that would help. His scratching went from mild to extreme with this. If your pet is hyper allergic to fragrance or in general then do not buy this. I did notice his fur coming off onto my hands with this as well when normally that wouldn’t happen. I can say that his fur has never been softer, but man I wish this didn’t make him itch worse.
