Not ideal for cats

While this product claims to be for both cats and dogs, my cats wouldn't tolerate it. They didn't like the spray bottle noise, which I could get around by pouring

While this product claims to be for both cats and dogs, my cats wouldn't tolerate it. They didn't like the spray bottle noise, which I could get around by pouring it out. But once it was on their coats they all reacted poorly to licking their fur. Flinching and grimacing as if it tasted bad. I am giving it 3 stars though because it did improve their coat and dandruff for the couple of days that it remained on their fur. So it did what it's advertised for quite well. Just wish the bottle wasn't a spray bottle and the formula was re-worked to be less repellant for pets that lick.

I would say this does not work well on a long haired dog like my Tiff, But It does work on short haired dogs very well. I ended up giving to my daughter and It worked
