Is this Nature's Logic Distinction?

No, per Nature’s Logic website, the Distinction line is only sold at specialty pet food stores. In my small town, it’s sold in a pet food boutique type store. Ingredients in this “Original” line and “Distinction” are different.

What country is natures logic produced and are all their ingredients also procured in the same country

This food is manufactured in the USA. Nature’s Logic selects vendors that can supply ingredients from the USA and other countries with good food safety practices, such as New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and Europe. They also require their vendors can guarantee that the ingredients do not come from China, and that they contain no chemical preservatives, herbicides, or insecticides.

How many cups come per bag?

There will be approximately 4 cups per pound of kibble. The 4.4 pound bag will have close to 17 cups, the 15.4 pound bag close to 61 cups and the 26.4 pound bag close to 105 cups.

Do you test your foods for mycotoxins?

Nature’s Logic tests every batch of food to ensure that it meets their specifications. In addition, the ingredients and finished foods are tested to ensure there are no harmful bacteria, like Salmonella or E. coli. They also test for potential rancidity, aflatoxins, and vomitoxins. The company has also done random testing for fluoride.

What is more logical than Natural food? I love this brand and formula because it is made without synthetic vitamins and the brand itself is resourceful using clean

What is more logical than Natural food? I love this brand and formula because it is made without synthetic vitamins and the brand itself is resourceful using clean energy. Everything is sourced from whole ingredients. There is nothing fake about this food, just balanced high quality kibble. I highly recommend this brand as well. My dog has always done well on it. I switched her from feeding Fromm for years to this and her coat is so shiny and her allergies are pretty much non existent and it is much easier on her sensitive stomach. If your dog is sensitive or you want a more wholesome and simpler approach to nutrition this brand is for you!

DO NOT BUY

I wish I would’ve read the reviews before purchasing, I recently adopted a dog and wanted to change her food to a more natural “healthier” kibble. I came across

I wish I would’ve read the reviews before purchasing, I recently adopted a dog and wanted to change her food to a more natural “healthier” kibble. I came across this brand in store and it looked promising- I purchased the 4lb bag to make sure she liked it as well as wean her off her other food and she immediately had diarrhea. I took her to the vet thinking she caught something from the humane society and they had to give her fluids and put her on a temporary wet food only diet because the vet didn’t know what was wrong- $250 later, they figured she got into something and it had upset her stomach. Days passed and she was FINALLY all better so I give her kibble again, shortly after eating she explodes ALL over her dog bed and crate. I finally looked online and discovered that this brand is NOTORIOUS for causing dogs to have diarrhea due to corporation and recipe changes. Save your money, and your time and buy something else. Luckily, chewys customer service is outstanding and I was issued a refund.

Something very wrong with this food

My dog has been successfully eating this food for about 7 years and had really thrived on it. After eating from this last bag from June 2025 she has had severe cases

My dog has been successfully eating this food for about 7 years and had really thrived on it. After eating from this last bag from June 2025 she has had severe cases of diarrhea. I stopped giving it to her and went on a bland diet three different times. All three times she was great on a bland diet and within 24 hours of resuming this food the severe diarrhea returned. I’m not sure what changed with this food recently, but something is very wrong with it.

Sold to Mid America Pet Food

My dog thrived before they changed the way they prepare this dog food. She began getting sick after the change. The recipe stayed the same but it is noticeable

My dog thrived before they changed the way they prepare this dog food. She began getting sick after the change. The recipe stayed the same but it is noticeable cooked different and doesn’t have a fresh smell anymore. After 1 year of poor communication with “Natures Logic” they offered me no answers and essentially ignored me, trying to bribe me with free bags of food. I have pictures of the old food “lighter color” VS the new food “burnt/overcooked”. Used to be a great brand ruined by corporation.

I did not realize it at first but after going to a blind diet and slowly introducing all his foods one at a time am now 1000% sure it is this kibble. Such a shame because it has a great reputation.
