Is this chicken raw or cooked before it is freeze-dried?

Little Shih Tzu girls are happy with these. I did a four out of five because I don't like the white, powder residue on the pieces. But that being said, no complaints

Real chicken

My kitties love this, but last few bags I've received, obviously the bags were smashed at some point so pieces were smashed to powder...probably half of all of it

I did top their food with it, but at the price, definitely too much money to sprinkle as a powder. Like I said tho, kitties love it.

not worth the money

This product is mostly crumbs I actually dumped it into a strainer to weed out the dust particles of product and them pick out the few pieces left that were substantial

75% dust, 25% chunks

So disappointed. My cats love the taste and it’s healthy. Most of it is powder. Mine need to chase and kill their treats for maximum effect but what chunks there

My kitties both love this product - it is strictly freeze-dried chicken. The reasons I removed one star is two-fold. First, there is a lot of powder in the package

My kitties both love this product - it is strictly freeze-dried chicken. The reasons I removed one star is two-fold. First, there is a lot of powder in the package. (The powder is from the chicken pieces - it’s just considerably more than before.). Second, when they changed the packaging, they reduced the size by several ounces while increasing the price - all without any notification. The way it was presented looked like “hey, we just changed the package to look more modern.”
