Freeze-Dried Superfoods

Freeze-Dried Superfoods

LifeBites Freeze-Dried Dog Food is made with real, whole foods sourced in the USA. Each recipe starts with duck breast, chicken breast or wild salmon that's blended with superfoods like blueberries, carrots and pumpkin. Greek yogurt is added to supply live, active probiotic cultures for better digestion. Because these fresh ingredients are freeze-dried, the final result is a food with intense flavor that maintains its nutritional value. It's made without grains or glutens, and it doesn't need additives or preservatives.

Single-Ingredient Treats

Whole Life Originals are packed with protein from a single meat or fish ingredient. These freeze-dried bites of pure chicken breast, turkey breast, beef, wild salmon, wild cod, duck breast or beef liver are naturally delicious and extremely popular with the canine crowd. They're low in calories, big on flavor and great for pets with allergies or food sensitivities.

    Not just for dogs

    By on

Same as the one labeled for cats only bigger. I pull the treat apart and put it on my cat's food. She absolutely loves them and follows me to the pantry every time I get her one. I love that there is only one ingredient, salmon, nothing else. My cat can't have chicken and most cat food and treats have chicken or chicken byproducts in them so it's hard to find something for her that she will like. This she loves!!!

    Great snack

They ran out of the salmon treats for cats so I bought this version. Same thing. My cat squeaks with joy when she sees these treats. It is the only food I can get her to sit on command for.

Top quality; no skins or bones

    By on

My cats will eat most treats, but the Whole Life salmon treats are always a winner, and so that's all I've been buying for a while now. There are no leathery skins or sharp, bony particles like you'll find in most cheaper salmon treats, so I don't have to worry about my cats having difficulty chewing or swallowing these. I'm just a little baffled by the pricing of the different sizes of bags. Yes, the pieces in the 2 oz. bag are larger than in the 1 oz. bag, but it's pretty easy to break them apart for cats. I do it over a container where any salmon "dust" can be saved as a food topper. The 2 oz. bag seems to be the most economical since the price is only slightly higher than the 1 oz. bag, and My cats will eat most treats, but the Whole Life salmon treats are always a winner, and so that's all I've been buying for a while now. The 2 oz. bag seems to be the most economical since the price is only slightly higher than the 1 oz. bag, and it's still cheaper to buy five of the 2 oz. bags (for a total of 10 oz.) than it is to buy one 8 oz. bag, but then you're consuming more plastic when buying multiple bags. It seems like the 8 oz. bag should yield the most savings, but that's not the case, at least not currently. … more

    Great treat!

    By on

Nice sized pieces and easy to chew. He’s really enjoying these. I have another brand which is really just scraps in a bag. It took him awhile to get with them. This treat I’ll buy again. I like nugget like size. They also don’t have a smell if that’s your concern.

    Great training treat!

My GSD loves these and considers them a “special” treat. They don’t smell and I can put them in my hoodie pocket if I don’t want to use my training pouch on walks.

    Truly just cod

    By on

I have bought this several times now and it is truly just dried cod fish. My dog loves it and I know I'm giving her something very healthy.

    Solid not powdery or flaky

    By on

Love Whole Life, the Salmon holds up much better than chicken or turkey. My cats prefer the chicken but the product falls apart to easy. The Salmon requires me to cut them in to smaller pieces so no waste

    He eats better than me

    By on

Freeze dried salmon at about $48.00 a lb. Thank goodness I only give a little to entice him to eat his other food, and then sometimes he only eats the salmon!
