Natural Balance products are manufactured on shared machinery. However, they take every precaution to minimize the risk of cross contamination between production runs. To reduce the risk of cross contamination, the manufacturing lines are thoroughly flushed between each production run. The lines are completely cleaned per the facility’s Food Safety Plan in compliance with FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). Audits are also performed on a regular basis by their Quality Assurance Team. Further, several samples are also taken throughout each production run for Quality Assurance inspection as well as their Buy With Confidence laboratory testing. For this reason, if a pet has a medical condition such as allergies, it is advisable that the pet parent consult with their veterinarian prior to starting on any of their products.

Unfortunately, our two dogs did not like. However, they are small dogs and I didn't realize they were large kibble bites, so I think it wasn't easy for them to chew. Not sure if that played a roll in their dislike. Since the bag is only specified by age not dog size, I did not know.

That it was better food then what I was feeding a while back

Musty loves his new food and so far it's doing good his poop isn't like runny like diarrhea. He's not looking to find some grass to eat and throw up. So far so good

So far so good will see by end of next month if it's still working out for him..but so far seems better then before. The other food he had was goog but two expensive for hardly a year food.

No more puking

I changed to Natural Balance for my Snikkers. She was on Ble Wilderness before and she was constantly throwing up and having diarrhea. Since I've changed brands

I changed to Natural Balance for my Snikkers. She was on Ble Wilderness before and she was constantly throwing up and having diarrhea. Since I've changed brands Snikkers does not have any problems. I like that the ingredients are all natural. This is the first time using this flavor and Snikkers seems to love it. I highly recommend any of the flavors when it comes to Natural Balance.

Something is going on with my dog regarding the ingredient change: menhaden meal to salmon meal; oatmeal to oat groats; and I am not sure what else. My dog has been Natural Balance Salmon and Brown Rice for several years without an issue. The last bag of this product, which had menhaden meal in the ingredient listing, before the "ingredient change" caused very runny stools in my dog. We tried another bag, which turned out to be a new formula containing salmon meal to replace the menhaden meal. His stools firmed up a bit but not back to normal. We tried giving the older bag with menhaden meal again after the improvement and he went back to very runny stools again. So we will throw away the remainder of the menhaden formula but we also need to find a new dog food for my dog who is already sensitive to many foods. I would like to know what other changes they made so I can find a food that my dog will tolerate.

My dog is not a fan

Rush is allergic to chicken. I had him on a different flavor and he seemed to like it. For some reason I decided to switch to this flavor and he hardly eats it

Rush is allergic to chicken. I had him on a different flavor and he seemed to like it. For some reason I decided to switch to this flavor and he hardly eats it. He will wait until The very end of the day then eat it when he knows nothing else is an option. I’ll go back to the other flavor next bag. Surely can’t afford to pay for another bag at the moment. Lesson learned!
