The fish is 100% wild caught, USA sourced and processed and sustainably caught. They buy all of their fish, including salmon, cod and tuna from their seafood supplier in Boston, Massachusetts Red’s Best Seafood who is a human food industry seafood supplier.

Do these have to be refrigerated after opening?

These treats do not require refrigeration. Moisture control is the single most critical factor when storing freeze-dried treats. They must be stored in a cool, dry place and in an air-tight container such as plastic resealable bags or an air-tight jar. This can keep the treats good up to 1 year after.

The first time I purchased these treats, they were perfect! Perfectly sized for a cat, and according to Keavy, perfect-tasting. The second time I bought a bag, the size and shape had changed substantially. Now each treat is in the shape of a large cube, too big for my cat's mouth. I tried to tear the treats into parts, but they were too hard to tear by hand. So, I tried cutting them into smaller pieces with a knife on the kitchen cutting board. They resisted the knife as well. I didn't want to pulverize them into dust. I no longer buy these because of the change in the way they are manufactured. What happened? They used to be the best little treats :(

My picky cat won't eat anything but dry food. But when I bought this freeze dried salmon and wetted it a bit he ate it this is the only treat that's healthy for him that I can get him to eat. He is 15 years old and his coat was looking shabby and he has hypothyroidism so he was loosing weight now his coat looks healthy and he has gained some weight I am so glad I found this product!

It comes to you vacuum sealed which I liked and didn't expect. The reason Iarked it as a 3 star is because my cat wouldn't eat it. He would lick it a little but that was all. He wouldn't take to it and eat and he's a cat that likes seafood flavors. So I was pretty disappointed with that and had to look for different snack that he would like. Thankfully I have another cat that's not a picky eater and eats everything under the sun. So gave these snack to him instead.

I canceled my orders after that. I just starting another autoship and the price is $27. I've had prices range from $27 - $43 several times in the last 6 months.
