Freeze-Dried Superfoods

Freeze-Dried Superfoods

LifeBites freeze-dried cat food is made with real, whole foods sourced in the USA. Each recipe starts with duck breast, chicken breast or wild salmon that's blended with superfoods like cranberries, sweet potatoes and pumpkin. Greek yogurt is added to supply live, active probiotic cultures for better digestion. Because these fresh ingredients are freeze-dried, the final result is a food with intense flavor that maintains its nutritional value. It's made without grains or glutens, and it doesn't need additives or preservatives.

Single-Ingredient Treats

Whole Life Originals are packed with protein from a single meat or fish ingredient. These freeze-dried bites of pure chicken breast, turkey breast, wild salmon, wild cod or beef liver are naturally delicious and extremely popular with the feline crowd. They're low in calories, big on flavor and great for pets with allergies or food sensitivities or those that are prone to weight gain.

    Meow Meow Meow WOW!

By Alisa on Feb 22, 2021

We run when we hear mom open the drawer that has these salmon treats in it. She sometimes thinks she can be so quiet. LOFBO (laughing our furry butts off)! What does she think she is???? A cat? (Oooh, good one Parachute). Anyway these are the bestest. Good and fishy and stinky. Yum. Mom likes them because they are healthy - no filler. Just one ingredient. And she makes sure we have a full bowl of fresh water after we've had a few. They're freeze-dried and can make our little mouths a bit dry afterwards. Not always. Just sometimes. Except for Plume. She always gets a drink afterwards. 12 paws up from the 3 of us cats.

My cat has pancreatitis and he loves this and can eat it!

By LilWildCat on Jan 23, 2021

We found out that my little guy has pancreatitis. The doctor said he became allergic to chicken, which really irritated his pancreas. Chicken was in all of his food in one form or another. We had to cut it all out, and suddenly, the whole world changed for him. All of his favorite foods had to go and his doctor wanted him on raw meat, but would allow him some canned food as long as it didn’t contain chicken or chicken byproducts or chicken broth. It was a really a really tough move for him. The frozen raw food just wasn’t the same (no yummy gravy or wonderful smell). But then I found this! I can break up two chunks of this freeze-dried salmon in a glass container and mix it with his defrosted We found out that my little guy has pancreatitis. It was a really a really tough move for him. The frozen raw food just wasn’t the same (no yummy gravy or wonderful smell). But then I found this! I can break up two chunks of this freeze-dried salmon in a glass container and mix it with his defrosted, raw “Duck, duck, goose” and his defrosted, raw turkey. It comes to almost a crab cake consistency, but with more moisture. I break it up into little nuggets in his bowl. He wouldn’t eat his raw food before, but now that I’ve added this freeze-dried salmon, he’s loving it! He doesn’t need belly rubs after eating anymore. We had to do that before, otherwise he might vomit. He’s also been more active and his coat is shinier. He notices the difference in how he feels and has been asking me for that mixture more often, whereas before, I was trying everything to get him to eat it and he was leading me back to the fridge with sad eyes that asked where his “real” food was. Everything got better for him because of this freeze-dried salmon! It made mealtime happy again! I’m so grateful that he doesn’t feel lost in a strange new world anymore!!! Sure, the chunks could be smaller. Even when I give these to him as a snack, I break them up, because most of the chunks are just too big, but it’s a very small inconvenience. Also, you can choose how big or small or want them to be, by breaking them up yourself or crushing them into a powder-like consistency. Then, you can mix it into a food that your fur-baby doesn't like or sprinkles little on top. Sometimes just putting three or four tiny pieces on top of a food that your fur-baby isn’t used to yet is all you need. It’s also a great snack and it’s one that he is able to eat. I’m just so grateful to have something that gives him back a sense of normality. Thank you for making my little guy’s life better!!! … more

    Chunks are HUGE!

By JoeS on Nov 22, 2020

Good thing I got these for free. Knowing what I know now, I'd never intentionally buy them. The salmon chunks are HUGE! I have to try to dice them up into smaller cubes so my cats can actually eat them. There are plenty of other freeze dried products that do come cat-mouth cube sized. Maybe if I owned a tiger—these would be size appropriate.

    Kitty goes bonkers for this

By Charlie on Dec 20, 2020

I have an extremely picky kitty, one week she’ll eat chicken and the next week she won’t. These nuggets are the one of two consistent items she will have, so I always have chicken and salmon on hand to please her weekly mood

    Treats are a Winner

By catmomofthree on Aug 28, 2020

All three cats love these treats and I feel good that they are healthy with no fillers or binders, etc. Have to break apart the larger chunks for the older cats but they are a winner all around.

    Delicious to both

By AandEdogs on Sep 10, 2020

My dogs and neighbor's cats love this product. The salmon holds together better than the chicken, regarding crumbling.

    6 cats hated this product.

By Salmon on Jul 18, 2020

My 2 indoor cats ran from it so I decided to give it to 4 stray cats. They also wouldn't touch it. Don't understand all the great reviews. Ended up feeding it to birds. Money wasted.

    Cat Loves His Salmon Treats

By CatLover on May 16, 2020

One of my cats goes crazy over these and the other one won't eat them...ha ha. They are expensive but last a long time and my cat is frantic for them. He also will eat cat food he normally wouldn't if I sprinkle some salmon on top.

    Great for training!

By IvyLevi on Apr 6, 2020

My cats love these treats! I definitely have to break them up because they will just try to swallow the big blocks whole...but these work great for training sessions (my cats know sit, high five, and stay!), and they work great stuffed into kongs! This size bag lasts me about 1 month with two cats if I'm training fairly regularly.
