What size are the pellets? I have a sifting style litter box

Answer by ChewyFeb 22, 2019
Click the picture below for reference.

Do the pellets absorb the cats urine and expand or does the pellets loosen and become a saw dust texture?

Answer by ChewyOct 02, 2019
The pellets when wet will loosen and break down into a saw dust texture.

Is this litter composed of kiln dried pine? I wasn't able to find this information on Nature's Logic website or on the photos of the bag. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Answer by ChewyNov 17, 2018
Nature's Logic pine litter is kiln dried.

How is the isocupressic acid of the ponderosa pine expelled to make this safe for animals?

Answer by ChewyOct 16, 2020
Isocupressic acid is found primarily in the pine (conifer) needles. No pine needles are used in the production of Nature's Logic pine litter. Only whole logs which are planed down and kiln dried are used. Once that process is complete, the logs become pellets, those pellets are oven baked twice.

It tracks and it’s too big

Claims to be low tracking, but once it gets wet it breaks down into particles that do not clump and get tracked outside the litter box anyway. The pieces when whole

Claims to be low tracking, but once it gets wet it breaks down into particles that do not clump and get tracked outside the litter box anyway. The pieces when whole are also too large to fit through my scooper. It smells great but doesn’t really do its job the way I wanted it to.

No smell, great at deodorizing

It has a neutral smell and just kind of has a slight pine/woody smell. And it deodorizes the area and doesn’t have that clay litter smell that permeates small spaces

People have said they can’t even tell that I have cats if they don’t see them in my one bedroom apartment because this stuff works so well and my cats really like it they have no problem with it.

Great for pet rabbits, too

I use these as litter at one end of a pan of hay so my bunnies can eat and output at the same time. Good absorption of their urine, and I just dump it all after 2 days. Small weight is easy for me (75 y/o) to handle.

Unusable due to overwhelming scent

I tried this in my search for a litter that is natural and doesn't track everywhere. My medium-hair cat likes to leap out of the litter box and tracks every kind of litter I've tried throughout the house, regardless of what type of litter mat I use. Although these pellets seem like they would cut back on tracking, the odor of this litter is so overpowering that I couldn't use it. It smells like pine plus chemicals and it made me and my pets cough and sneeze as soon as I opened the bag. Unfortunately, I had to discard the bag immediately and the odor still lingered in my house for quite awhile. I would not recommend this to anyone who is even mildly sensitive to chemicals/scents.

Strong odor and tracked by cat

Very strong smell and as soon as it falls apart the cat tracks it all over the room so the mess spreads long distance past the litter box even with a no tracking

We switched to pine litter years ago because clay litter is bad for the family's lungs, the environment, and is very heavy amd miserable to change when wet. This brand of litter is better than the horse pellet bedding we used to purchase from farm supply stores because it breaks down much easier into sawdust. My furchins prefer the soft feeling on their paws, and have been ever so good about using their boxes! We scoop out the solids daily, and when we smell ammonia from the urine, we change the box. The rest of the time we experience a very light pleasant scent of pine. The 24# bag is much easier to move and manipulate.

Best Litter I’ve Ever Used

The best thing about this litter is that it doesn’t track around the house like clay litters! I love that it keeps the litter box smell free too. My cat refused

arrives when and where it is supposed to

i appreciate good shipping. Never have shipping issues with your orders and am grateful for that as other companies more than make up for the lack of drama.

Pet loved it

My cat has allergies. Finally found a litter she is not allergic to and she actually likes.
