I bought this food thinking it was a good quality food, based on ingredients....within 2 weeks of my dogs being fed this food 2 of them broke out very bad and very itchy....went back to original food and dogs are clearing up, and not itching.
I’ve been getting the Nature’s Logic kibble for a long time and go try to mix up the different types of proteins. I think this was the first time I got sardine and a significant portion of the kibble had crumbled into dust ): we’ve been using a sieve to try to get the bigger kibble bits. The kibble itself is great but not sure that we’ll try this one again but will be going back to some of the other protein types!
We just switched back to this dog food as we had good luck with it in the past. All four dogs have vomited several times per day from the first day we mixed some with their current food. Tried again after a few days but same result. The food is a weird green/yellow color so not sure if that is the problem? Very disappointed as this is an expensive dog food!
This brand was recommended because it was free of legumes and potatoes. I was surprised to see that the kibble was very small. Also halfway through the bag the kibble had turned to nothing but powder. Because the kibble is so small I can imagine it crushes easily if not handled carefully from factory to shipment. I hope they fix the problem. I asked for a refund and won't purchase it again
Due to the reviews I had hopes for this food. My dog eats freeze-dried raw but I was hoping to supplement with some high quality food to save a little money. She would not eat this at all! Another bag of food to donate. :(
I have 2 French bulldogs and they loooove this kibble. it is a well made kibble, with only great ingredients, no fillers! my girls are from champion blood lines and their breeder also feeds this to her adults. Great source of proteins and healthy fats, keeps their coat shiny and healthy :)
Been using the dry sardine for a year with no issue. The past 2 bags are extremely dusty. Called and chewy replaced the bag. Next bag was also dusty and gave my dog horrible diarrhea. I will be calling to let them know. Not sure if they changed something in the formula.
My dogs love the Nature's Logic wet food and do well on it, combined with another brand of high-quality kibble. This food made both of my dogs SO sick, even after several weeks long transition period. I had to throw it away. And now I need a new carpet. What a waste of money.
I have searched and searched for a food my 120 pound dog Murphy can eat. He has multiple allergies and most food have grains or sweet potatoes or potatoes....all off limits. This food does have millet, which I am assuming he is allergic to (was not on the report), but oh well! Don't let perfect be the enemy of the good. This food is very crumbly, as other reviewers have mentioned, but I use a snuffle dish (highly recommended) so it's not a big issue....the crumbs fall into the bowl and he has to root around for them...good for the brain and slows him down. I could write a book here about my dog Murphy Brown, but suffice to day, he means the world to me and I am glad to have found this food.
The dogs love it!!!! I've gotten to the bottom of the bag and I have measured 1-1/3 cup (5.7 oz/161g) of food dust. This doesn't include the amount I've thrown away during the use of the bag. I've been buying sardine feast for at least a year or 2 now, and the amount of dust seems to get worse with every bag.
