Questions & Answers

Do you need to transition within the Nature's Logic feed...say,Duck and Salmon to Sardine?
Answer by ChewyMar 03, 2020
If you’re just switching to a new flavor within the same brand, the transition should be pretty easy. Recipes within the same line will usually have the same secondary ingredients—it should just be the first ingredient that changes for flavor. The majority of the nutrients and vitamin quantities should remain consistent, too. If you know your dog tolerates duck just as well as salmon, you can usually make the change in just two or three days without any issues by following the transition tips over the course of a few days rather than a few weeks.

Good option for my dog

We've used this Brand before and my dog likes it. I like to rotate brands and different meat/fish types. Sometimes she gets some "ancient grains" but other times grain free. Fish never seems to be my dogs' favorite, so the Sardine isn't a fave, but it's good for her and it's mixed with one of her other meats and/or brands. She can only eat around it for so long!

Not my favorite of the options

My pup does really well on Nature’s Logic food. We’ve tried all of the flavors and she likes this one, but it doesn’t look as good as the others. Her favorite flavor is probably this, chicken, or pork. However, the food looks dried out compared to the others. We tried the Distinction line and that food looks higher quality. Of course, I have no clue if that means anything, but just something to note. I usually switch the protein type every couple of bags, and she never gets Soft stools, which I love about this brand.

great flavor

This is the first time I bought the sardine flavor. I have bought mostly beef and chicken. My dogs loved this, and I had to fight the cats off...they must have smelled the fish. Ha

Nature’s Logic

My Lab was just eating one variety, NL Chicken, but at 10 months seemed to want some variety. I put out some NL Sardine, and she was skittish about it at first, but it became a favorite. Then I bought some NL Beef and she liked that. Now I keep all three in stock and randomly rotate for variety. Since I am buying three varieties, I am adjusting my Auto-ships for each so that I get a different flavor about every 4 weeks.

Finally! A food that works!

We tried to find the right food for our boy for the first 2 years of his life. Tried every from Taste of the Wild, to instinct, to Acana, to a full Raw diet. Tried numerous different protein sources. His stool and itchiness improved here and there (it was the best on Acana Freshwater Fish formula). We switch from acana to Natures Logic when the itching started again slightly and remaining inconsistent stools. After 2 weeks on natures logic sardine formula, he’s had the best poop of his entire life (hallelujah!!!) and the itching has been all but eliminated.

The only kibble my dog will eat

Ringo loves fish and tuna so I get him the dry canine sardine meal feast . He loves the taste and that the kibble is small because that’s what he prefers the ingredients are grain inclusive and seem healthy Ringo has been eating this brand about 3 years now . It is powdery at the bottom of the bag and the food is pricey but it is worth it if it keeps your dog healthy and they like the flavor and texture

Must have!

My 13 year old westie has battled with skin allergies her whole life. I have tried multiple different foods with no change. Once trying this food, her skin and coat is 100% better. I wish I had found out about this a decade ago!!!

Only the best for my pups!

I've been searching forever for a food that I feel good about feeding my dogs. I came across Nature's Logic after reading a blog from one of my favorite raw feeding accounts. She recommended nature's logic for those looking to feed dry kibble. One of my dogs has sensitive stomach but is also overweight so I chose this one because of it's calories and because my dog does best on fish. He's been loving it so much! When we adopted my other dog, a cattle dog, she's also been loving this food! I've also been mixing the rabbit kibble with this and they go crazy for it!

Yes for a picky eater!

After feeling what felt like ages reading ingredient label after ingredient label and doing endless hours of research I finally landed on this kibble, and must say that I am IMPRESSED So far, both of my GSD’s have transitioned amazingly! This is the first time Hudson has not refused kibble and Bella has not been an itchy mess. Absolutely thrilled with this product! Thanks natures logic!
