Nature's Miracle Enzymatic Formula Advanced Dog Stain & Odor Eliminator, 32-fl oz bottle, Fresh Scent

Let me start by saying that I did my due diligence and opened the lid to the product at the store to see how it smelled. It wasn't unpleasant or overpowering from the open lid, so I bought it. I've used NM products in the past and never had an issue with the aroma. Well, last night I had to use it right away when my 22 year old blind kitty missed half of the puppy pad on the rug. At 2:30 in the morning, I gave this stuff a try. O...M...G. I followed their instructions and immediately regretted it. They recommend you saturate the spot (and this spot was small--maybe a 2-inch diameter), so I did just that. I was HORRIFIED at just how incredibly overpowering the scent was. There is 100% NO REASON for it to be so intensely perfumed. Perhaps if it were to be diluted in a carpet cleaning machine. But straight out of the bottle? Absolutely not. I could feel my brain cells dying with every second I spent near it, while I realized I'd just made a terrible mistake buying this product. If you use this, please wear gloves when applying it, and a respirator. I had to wash my hands just with clean water 4-5 times to reduce the 'scent stain', but not eliminate it. I couldn't sleep because of the scent from my hands, and from the carpet down the hall. Thankfully, a little bit of nearly-unscented hand cream took care of it. Also, since the spot was so close to my pet's bed (about 3 feet) I ended up having to cover the spot overnight because the aroma was so powerful I didn't want her getting sick from the fumes. It's now been about 15h since I applied it, and it's as strong and offensive as it was when first applied. I have no idea if it enzymatically removes odor. I suspect it doesn't and it's just using harsh chemical deodorizers. So very disappointed in this given how much success I've had with Nature's Miracle products in the past.
