Skunk VS Dogs

I bought this on a recommendation after my dog was sprayed by a skunk and spread the oils to my other dog. The smell was unbearable and incredibly strong initially

I bought this on a recommendation after my dog was sprayed by a skunk and spread the oils to my other dog. The smell was unbearable and incredibly strong initially. I tried home remedies while waiting for this to arrive to no avail. I used this a few times and eventually the smell only came out when the dogs were wet and then the smell disappeared all together. I will always keep this on hand as I can't imagine being without in case this happens again.

I tried every de-skunking treatment available. From the Dawn, peroxide & baking soda to this guaranteed shampoo. It didn’t work as promised. He smells a little

We tried the peroxide/baking soda/dish soap combo, and that worked much better. If anything, this shampoo seemed to bring out the skunk scent even more in our dog’s

Unfortunately, this shampoo doesn't quite live up to the promises it makes. After double washing and letting the shampoo sit on the affected area, the smell of skunk

Unfortunately, this shampoo doesn't quite live up to the promises it makes. After double washing and letting the shampoo sit on the affected area, the smell of skunk lingered. This was after initial washing with a solution of dish soap, hydrogen peroxide and baking soda, as well as a separate skunk scent pre-wash treatment from the Nature's Miracle brand. This shampoo does seem to dull the skunk smell a little with each wash, but it won't eliminate the smell entirely. Sadly, the only thing that seems to work after a direct skunk spray is time.

Worked Like a Charm

Would definitely recommend having this in your home just in case. My dog was sprayed during skunk mating season, 10:30 at night & again 6:00 AM a few weeks later
