my kitties love the taste

It is a bit pricey per ounce and not sure if it does what it says (helping the fur and health of red-hued cats) but they do like the taste of it.

My cat love it!

Solar, my elderly orange tabby, was lacking energy and had lost his vibrant orange color over the years, until I switched him to Superior Care Pet's Red Cat food

Solar, my elderly orange tabby, was lacking energy and had lost his vibrant orange color over the years, until I switched him to Superior Care Pet's Red Cat food last year. He's playing again and his orange color is amber red/orange again! His dry skin also got significantly better after about 5 months of being on it. He's lost about 2lbs since starting this food as well. He struggles to lose weight even on a monitored amount of food, but the fact his energy levels are up so much gives me hope he'll keep losing.

Since I’ve only been feeding it to my cats for a little over a week, I cannot yet comment on long term benefits. I will say that all 5 of my cats loved the taste, and 2 of them usually won’t eat anything seafood related. I haven’t really seen a change in their skin or coat/fur, but the bag also states “Do NOT give any other dry or wet food but Nature’s Protection Superior Care Cats line”. I am assuming that means for me to see real results, my cats have to switch from the wet food they currently eat to this brand, and I am not prepared to do that at this time. It did not cause any of them to have diarrhea or to vomit, so that was a plus since a few of them have sensitive digestive systems. I also like that the actual kibble are small. One thing I found confusing is, at the time, my options were food for white cats or red cats, (I see there is also one for dark/black cats on the site), so I didn’t know which to choose. I have a dark gray, dark black & gray tabby, and 3 tabby that are a mix of gray, white, and tan. Since 2 of the 5 have no white at all, I went with the red cats food.

I’ve been using Nature's Protection Red Cats Herring Grain-Free for just about a week now, and I’m already seeing signs that this was a great choice. My cat took to it right away, which was a relief since she’s usually pretty picky. Her coat is already looking shinier, and her digestion seems smoother — no upset tummy or litter box issues. I really like the clean ingredients and the focus on skin and coat health, especially since herring is the main protein source. It’s a little early to speak to long-term results, but so far, I’m really happy and plan to stick with it. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for a high-quality grain-free option!

Natures protection superior care for red cats, so far so good! My ginger boy loves the food. So far there have been no issues with stomach upset, and no issues in the litter box. The kibble is also small enough that I can use it in some of his puzzle feeders. I have not yet noticed improvement to his skin or coat but they are both looking good and I plan to continue using this product.

The pieces are small so they are easily eaten by cats of all sizes - but also 'scarfable" - I have to give this mixed in with other food because my cat likes to inhale food (... and then give it back to me on the floor). A few times, she has just eaten all of this kibble off the top of the wet food, so she clearly loves it! She has a sensitive system, and has not had any digestive upset using as a food topper.

First seafood based food that my cats actually liked & left no crumbs behind. My cats are on a turkey based diet & this did not cause any stomach problems.

Would prefer it it was made in usa and not in Lithuania, not crazy about some of the ingredients, namely the pea protein and peas. I feel thats just a cheap way
