I live in Philadelphia, PA. Nature's protection dark cats herring grain-free dry cat food is great. I have 10 cats and 4 of them are black cats. I used this product last week. They loved it. As a matter of fact, I placed it side by side with their regular dry cat food and they preferred the Nature's Protection Dark cats herring grain-free dry cat food I have already recommended it to 2 of my friends. I have been using Chewy for years now and absolutely love them. I would most definitely recommend them to everyone. I have been recommending them for quite a while now

My 5 cats have always eaten chicken dry food so I was happy to try Superior care with herring meal, omega 3, omega 6 and 69% animal proteins. I first served it by itself and 3 of 5 went straight to it and ate it up. The next day I mixed it with their regular food and my 4th one ate it as well. My 5th one, ate it on the the 3rd day. The kibble is a nice size so I'm not having a problem switching them over.

As much as I wish Amber would eat wet cat food, nope, she won't. So, very particular about her dry food. The ingredients are good, one protein (Herring), although wish the potato and pea protein would be omitted. Pea protein seems to be the trend. This food is specialized for dark cats (she's a beautiful Tortie) and she loves it! I transitioned her slowly thinking perhaps issues, as she is on a prescription urinary diet and need to be very careful, but no issues so far. It does say: UTI & Bladder Protection: Balanced minerals support bladder health and hydration; a reliable urinary tract cat food that minimizes discomfort, ideal for those seeking science diet cat food alternatives. We'll see. Hoping.

I have 2 black cats, and they both really like the Nature's Protection Dark Cats Herring flavor. It is a perfect size for them to eat, and contains Omega 3's and Vitamin D for healthy skin and hair. It also contains ingredients to maintain a healthy urinary system. I feed it to them as is, or occasionally add a gravy topping which they love. Too early to see much change in their coats, but they appear glossy. I definitely recommend it.

They loved it!!! Both my dark tabby Addie and black cat Lula are picky eaters but favor seafood flavors. I give them Dark cat as a treat and they gobble it up right away. The high protein content from the herring meal keeps them satisfied for hours so that they’ll sleep instead of bothering me. Lol. I have noticed that the coat on my black cat is shinier and she no longer has dandruff. The contents of dark cat states that the omega 3 and omega 6 supports healthy skin and a shiny coat so i guess it really is working. Lula and Addies love Dark Cat and i will def buy again

I’m grateful it’s grain free, as I think my cat has allergies. And finally my cat looks forward to eating it! She eats it heartily which is surprising because she is a picky eater.
