No more eye drainage

My cat has feline herpes virus and consequently has eye drainage that can turn into an infection easily or he can have a full blown reactivation infection of the virus if he is stressed -after starting this product I am able to keep his eyes almost perfectly clear and prevent systemic sickness. I give him two fish every day and am certain it has greatly improved his health and quality of life and prevented vet visits. Highly recommended for FHV cats with eye issues -great product!!

Unfortunately, none of my cats (one of which will eat just about anything) will eat these. I've tried adding it to their dry food and they spit it out. I tried adding it crumbled to their moist food and same thing. The texture is dry/crumbly as described in some of the other recent reviews. Seems like @vetriscience should go back to their previous formulation. I will continue to look for a palatable Lysine supplement.

Ok, I wanted to like this purchase but unfortunately my cat does not approve. He refuses to eat them and it’s a hassle trying to trick him into eating them so I won’t be buying these again. In all fairness it’s a great price for the quantity but if my cat doesn’t like them then there’s no point in buying them again as I am stuck with a full bag already lol

Buddy would not take them as treats. (He prefers tuna/salmon and I could not find any in that flavor, just the chicken) Currently I break them apart and mix them up in his hard food. Once they are mixed with his hard food, he will eat it. He doesn't seem to pick around it.

Choosy cats did not choose this

One cat tried it 2 days in a row, and either threw up her food or refused to eat for several days. We stopped giving these to her and she finally got her appetite

One cat tried it 2 days in a row, and either threw up her food or refused to eat for several days. We stopped giving these to her and she finally got her appetite back. None of the other 6 cats was willing to eat it after smelling or licking it. One cat has feline herpes, and we really hoped that these would help keep her symptoms under control, as the colds get passed from one cat to another. This cat didn't even lick it. I know all cats are different. The vet had recommended Lysine, but it was a hard NO with out crowd.
