can i put liquid medication in one of these?

It is not recommended to dispense liquid medicine via Greenies as there is no promised way to keep medicine inside for full, required dosage.
Do the feline salmon pill pocket pouches come in 85 count? All I could find on your site was 45 count.

Nice and soft and clearly tasty

My cat now has to take a daily pill, and so I tried these pill pockets in an attempt to keep from being scratched. His condition has made him a picky eater, but he loves these. Since they are soft, it’s easy to close them around the pills. I’m grateful for a stress free path forward.

These treats saved my sanity

These pockets are the only thing I've found that consistently hides pills from my alert & finicky cat! We've tried other treats and soft foods to mask her medication, but she'd figure it out and stop eating them or figure out how to eat around the pill. With these, the pocket easily hides the pill & my cat thinks she's just getting a treat. We're both happier and she is taking her medication regularly.

Greenies treats, yes. Greenies pill pockets, no way

For some reason, my old kitty hated these. I was surprised because he loved Greenies brand treats. He would gobble them up very quickly. He sniffed once and would not touch these.

the right stuff

My cat recently had to go on daily meds for thyroid problems and I told the vet that I'm not good at giving pills to my cat. She said get greenies and they have been working great!

Good concept but cats didn't like it

Food is a matter of taste, and my cats didn't like this at all. I bought 3 flavors (salmon, chicken, and catnip) and tried them all out, without the pill In them, on the cat who has to take chemo pills. He says "yuck." I asked 2 of my other cats what they thought of it and they said the same. Even the fat greedy one wouldn't touch them. I'm surprised and disappointed. They all LOVE the Greenies dental treats. I would say if you have a cat who needs help getting pills down, to at least try them and see if your cat likes them. If your cat does, it solves your problem. Mine had been eating his pills hidden in his cat food and topped with freeze-dried chicken, but ate around them the last time. I needed another sneaky option. I might try sticking them in a piece of real shrimp or meat next time. Or rolling the pill pocket in something tastier.

Too Crumbly

It has been my experience that these Salmon flavored pockets are simply too dry and fall apart easily, unlike the chicken flavored ones that are very soft and malleable. Will stick with chicken from now on.

Greenies Pill Pockets for cats

Had been trying to give one of my cats pills twice a day and was struggling. Light bulb went off in my head one day about this product and I sat down and ordered some and no more struggling. She has always loved her treats, so now she is thinking that she is getting a treat twice a day.

Why, oh why, the 45?

Chewy, you know I love you, but this time you hurt me. I love your deals and with multiple cats to medicate, I swarm to these pill pockets to fill up my cart to hit minimums. I always grab the 85-count. It’s a great deal! Alas, I was filled with disappoint on my last shipment. 3 packages of 45-count? This has to be a mistake! I checked my order, and sure enough, I made a mistake. In one last effort to save face with myself and my wife, I looked at the price comparison. SAME?!? C’mon! If I’m going to look like a fool in front of my wife, can you do me a solid and at least have the larger package cost a few cents more? SAME?! Oh, you kill me, Chewy. You know I still love you, though, right?

Lifesavers

My beloved cat just went over the rainbow bridge... but for the last 9 months she was on one medication or another to get her this far. These salmon pill pockets were the only way I ever possibly could have gotten her to take her medication without having to pry her mouth open several times a day. Even when she lost her appetite, she was always happy to eat her pill pockets with the pills tucked inside. They must taste AMAZING.
