I bought this because I was looking for an alternative to Greenies, & I already use the Vetriscience Perio Powder successfully. I was very disappointed that Joplin spit out the treat immediately. I gave the rest of it away to a family member who owns cats.

Neither Cat Would Touch Them

One cat is a very finnicky eater, but his teeth are in good shape, so I wasn't surprised when he turned up his nose at these dental treats. My other cat, however, inhales her food and usually will gobble up any treats I give her. She, of course, is the one who needs these treats, but she too refused to touch Perio Plus. I had read the reviews before I ordered them, so was prepared, but since a few cats DID eat them, I was hoping my Tula would be one of those outliers. Unfortunately for her teeth, she was not.

The only issue that I have and it's not limited to just this product, if I order any kind of crunchy treat or food along with litter or canned food, it arrives crushed because they throw the soft packages in with the heavy items and during the shipping process the heavy items pulverize the packages.

Only 1 of 8 cats will eat this

I use the VetriScience Perio Support powder for most of my cats. Three refuse to eat any food that has the powder put in or on, so I tried these treats. Those three

I use the VetriScience Perio Support powder for most of my cats. Three refuse to eat any food that has the powder put in or on, so I tried these treats. Those three will not eat these, either, but of the other 5 who like the powder, only one will eat these treats. She's my chowhound and will sit on command for food.
