it was ok + weird discoloration at the bottom

pema would get excited like she does at any wet food can i prepare but one i set it she’ll lick it for a minute then leave and come back to it a couple times in the next 2 hours or so. she’ll eat most of it but leaves leftovers til morning. she’d usually lick the plate clean in one sitting when we used tiki cat. also there’s this weird yellow/brown discoloration at the bottom layer of the food in the can. dunno what that’s about but definitely switching to something else. dunno if i’ll keep this in her rotation

Good choice for senior cats

Only 1 of my cats will eat this straight out of the can, but if I puree it with a little added water, the other 2 will gobble it up as well. So they like the flavor, just not the texture. I like the ingredients and I really like the weruva brand. I will keep this product in my rotation for my senior kitties.

Good Nutrition Profile, Neither Cat Will Eat It

Even the genuine garbage disposal cat, A.K.A the chubby one, won’t eat this. The ingredients looked great and my cats usually really like chicken and turkey but they both just stare at this with giant sad eyes, sniff it, and walk away.

Recommended by a friend, this food has lots of real chicken and excellent ingredients, and does NOT have some of the bad ingredients common in many other brands that are supposed to be high quality.

It's a split hit!

More than half my cats who eat canned food like it. Those that do, really like it! I was a bit surprised by the consistency at first; it is thick, not watery as I expected "au jus" to be, but that seems to be just fine with the ones who like it. I do find that a can here and there is more sauce than shredded meat, but even those are devoured with gusto.

Wonderful healthy food

My cat tends to have blood sugar that goes too high. I needed to find a food that was high protein, no by-products, no fillers .... and after a lot of research I found the Weruva brand. I talked with the company and got a print-out of the protein vs. carb content. All the food in their "Cats in the kitchen" brand are exceptionally healthy with low carbs and no grains. You can see the quality when you open the can and it even smells good. My cat just loves all their line of wet food. You can't go wrong with this! Try it .... your cat will thank you for it.

Not Satisfied

My cats used to love this brand but over the last year or so it seems there have been more problems than not. About half of the last batch I received was severely dented and on top of this, some of the cans when opened looked like the food was very old. My cats would not touch the food in these cans. The food is typically a bright pink and will brown/gray over time as it is exposed to the air, yet some of the cans in my last batch were already brownish gray (photo attached). Will be moving away from Weruva as I am seeing many others have issues with this food as well.

  • Gross! Food should not be gray when freshly opened.

Picky cat loves this

Gale is a picky cat who for the longest time wouldn't eat anything except chicken. One day I bought this from a different store as a treat unsure if she would eat it. Gale ended up eating the whole can in two meals and asked for more. The only downside was slow delivery.
