Feeding Instructions

Feed according to the age, size and activity of your cat. If fed alone, feed 1 oz for each lb of bodyweight daily, best fed twice a day. Your cat should have access to clean, fresh water. Refrigerate after opening.

Transition Instructions

Weruva always recommends switching your cat or dog's diet slowly and to adjust according to your pet's digestive stability. Typically, a 6 day transition suites most pet's needs. We recommend feeding a mix of 25% Weruva & 75% of the previous food for the first 2 days. For the next 2 days, feed 50% Weruva & 50% of the previous diet. Days 5 & 6, Feed 75% Weruva with 25% of the previous diet. Your pet should be fully adjusted to an exclusive high-quality Weruva diet thereafter.

  • Hit with all Four!

    By on Top 25 Contributor

I tried this years ago and my cats stopped eating it, but thought I'd give it another go around. Glad that I did because all 4 are gobbling it up, and Weruva seems to be a good company with good ingredients, if they could just get away from all that fish they seem to like to put into all their food for cats.

  • It's okay...

    By on

I liked this food because it does have fish oil in it, but doesn't have any actual fish in it, as the rescue advised me not to give my kitten fish. This food is okay, but it has a lot of jelly type liquid in it and not very much meat to balance it out, so my kitten eats double the amount she would normally eat with the other brand I've been giving her.

  • Tasty Food

    By on

My kitty gobbles up this food like a vacuum cleaner. This can has real tiny strips of chicken meat, not finely ground up chicken. The only drawback is the high amount of chicken jelly like broth. This chicken & beef along with Lamburgini are his favorite wet foods. Delivery is always super quick, love Chewy.com!

  • My picky eater loves this food!

    By on

I have a male cat with urinary problems. I talked to my vet about prescription diet, but she said that they have a lot of salt in then which was not good for my baby. She said this food met his special needs and he loves it. As a bonus it is cheaper than the prescription

  • My cat LOVES it!

    By on

My kitty LOVES this food. I add some warm water to it to make a gravy and he just absolutely enjoys every bite. He scarfs it down like it's the best thing he's ever eaten in his life. Would definitely recommend. I do have another cat that doesn't like it but he won't eat any wet food. He only likes dry. Super picky eater.

  • Cats didn't like it

    By on

I'm not sure why, but my four cats were not fond of this flavor. They would take a few bites and leave the rest.

  • Really hates pate

    By on

I have a male cat, who doesn't like pate. Won't eat it, nor will he eat any fish, which is fine since fish isn't good for males. Weruva is the only cat food he will consistently eat. He loves duck and beef

  • On the fence

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

My cats seem to like it. Two are 5 months old and not picky whereas the other two are 3.5 years old and unfortunately picky. My hesitation arises from the gelatinous form the food is in versus shreds in au jus or gravy. I usually microwave their food and even that doesn't help to make the gel melt, it merely becomes less thick. I assume the gel texture is due to the xanathan gum and guar gum. The actual amount of meat seems minimal with the gel substance. After opening I turn the can upside down and the food comes out in one plop still all together similar to a jell-o dish.
