About Weruva Classic Cat Cans

Weruva Classic Cat Foods

Weruva Classic Cat Foods are made using high-quality ingredients like boneless, skinless white meat chicken and hand-flaked fish loins. With ingredients you can see, these recipes deliver hydration-focused nutrition that’s rich in protein and low in fat.

Human Food Standards

Weruva pet foods are made in a state-of-the-art human food facility that caters to many countries, each with its own processing standards. Weruva proudly earned an “A” grade on The British Retail Consortium (BRC), which is one of the strictest standards.

Specifically Formulated for Feline

Cats are obligate carnivores, which means they only need meat and water to survive. All Weruva recipes are formulated with this in mind. The calories in each recipe come from three places: protein, fat and carbohydrates. The calories from meat are comprised of protein and fat with minimal, if any, calories coming from carbohydrates.

Cats absolutely hated it

I wanted to believe the reviews. I really wanted my 2-year-olds to love this because it seemed so much better than friskies (and SO MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE even though when I put it in my cart for auto-shipping, it was half what I was eventually charged, why allow customers to put stuff in their auto-shipping if the price will expire before it ships) but the cats hate it. I mean absolutely hate it. I thought it looked so much better but they are a little bit, sniffed at it a bit and left most of it just in their bowls. For this kind of price you'd think that cats would like it. I guess I'll donate this to a neighbor.

Sunshine likes this flavor best!

I found out about Weruva Catfood from a friend that I occasionally catsit for. My cat, Sunshine really likes the chicken. It comes with long chicken shreds (which I mash up for him) and a nice chicken broth. He eats every bite & his coat is beautiful and shiny. I like the fact that there are no fillers or unknown chicken parts. (My other cat prefers the salmon.)

Chicken food

The food looks good for human consumption, but my cats hate it. I think it is too hard to eat compared to regular pate. Thought because this food is very expensive too that it was going to be received well, no, it did not happen. I have 9 kitties and none of them care for it.

Chicken

Chicken shreds in juice. All my cats will eat this. I buy, because this particular variety does not contain objectionable ingredients and bowls always clean. I'm really surprised to hear some folks babies won't eat. Cats! They're the boss.

A New Favorite

I've been checking reviews for highly rated food for quality, and this was rated highly. At first my little girl just ate the broth. (She loves broth) The chicken bits looked like real chicken breast, but she's very fussy about the size of food. So the next time I cut up the chicken into tiny bits, and that she ate . I like this for a couple reasons, 1. lots of broth, and 2. the chicken is real chicken, not some crazy mix of unknown chicken parts.

Great, but 10% increase is insane!

Went searching for an affordable high-quality food for my picky feline after I was tired of hers going in/out of stock. Tried three varieties, and this was the clear winner. Cane back for more and tge price has gone up $4!!! In less than a month! That's a bit extreme. This brand has not won me over!

Cats stopped eating it suddenly

Our two Bengals were happily eating this food for about six months until the most recent autoship. Not sure if we got a bad batch, as it didn't look or smell off, but they both vomited (not normal for them) once after eating the new cans and they will no longer touch it or any other Weruva variety we've tried. Unfortunately it looks like we'll have to switch brands again. The two cases we received expire June 2025 with numbers NX2206/N6W2H on the cans.

Kitty Loves It

Had to put my kitty on this when she started getting sick from eating dry food. She is very finicky, but she loves this food. I love that I can also feel good about feeling it to her cuz it's good for her. Her coat is shiny and she's a happy, healty girl! I highly recommend this brand.

FINICKY CATS

Myfinicky cats LOVE this chicken! This is after my returning more tried and rejected food than I'm embarrassed to say. They lick their bowls clean every time. Wow....it even looks and smells good.

My cat loves it

This definitely looks to be some high quality food. It looks and smells like human grade canned chicken. My cat loves it and it doesn't mess up his stomach.
