Horrible Product for Cats
Hard as rock. Bag not even half full. Small hard pieces. Meat encased in some kind of hard, dry edge that does not hydrate well. My cay spits it out if I do not cut all of the edges off the pieces. This product has really gone downhill. Might be okay for dogs, but NOT for some cats - not mine.
My Cats Love This
As soon as my cats hear the sound of the bag they come running. They love this chicken. If they don't particularly like a wet food I've put in their dishes I crumble some of this over it and they chow down.
Healthy Treats
I love these treats! They are healthy and a great way to give you a cat something to satisfy them without knowing there's not a lot of junk in it. They are pricey right now where everything is going up but well worth the price to just give my fur babies a little something.
SOOOO much better than the new Halo!
My cats used to love Halo's freeze dried chicken. Then Halo changed to some unrecognizable, crunchy, GREASY cubes that I don't even want to touch, let alone feed my cats. Life Essentials is very much like the old Halo, and I will be buying that from now on.
Big honkin' pieces of chicken!
The chicken breast pieces are giant! I can break one piece down into 3 treats. These make a great mixer or topper, as well as a healthy treat. I love it! I've got another bag in my cart now.
New obsession for our cats
Our 3 cats are INSANE for these freeze-dried cat treats. Were it not for the cost they'd devour the whole bag in 60 seconds. I'd urge caution in distributing them fairly or equally......
Yummy yummy yum
Tigger and Boo love this product they scream at me in the morning til I soak their chicken and serve them. I found this product at a pet feed store then moved to a small community with no feed store with it so thank you Chewy for having it.
Fabulous treat for cats and dogs
My dog and cats LOVE this. It has also been a blessing as a topper, helping my 17 year old dog eat her food.
How did the chicken cross the road
I have 2 cats and one of them HATES anything Chicken flavor!! The other eats most anything. I received a sample of both chicken & salmon and my chicken hater, went CRAZY IN LOVE with the Chicken and had nothing to do with the Salmon. I obviously had to purchase a regular size bag of the Chicken to see if I was dreaming. I believe she would have indulged in the entire bag if I allowed.
