Cats Would Not Try
I have one picky eater and one that will eat what I provide, but they both smelled this and walked away. I can't get them to try it so can't say it is a good or bad product.
Great Treat
Two of my cats and my dog, love them very much. They can go really quickly because they're simply flakes however I sprinkle them on top of kibble sometimes as an enhancement and away for them to enjoy the flavor without eating the whole bag.
Fish Flakes for Doggos
I don't know what it is but Iggy eats them with everything! And WANTS to eat them with everything! Highly recommended.
Bonito Flakes for my cat
My cat goes nuts over these. Her vet suggested giving them to her because she is over weight and these only have a few calories. I give them to her in the evening only. They are expensive! I try to give her small portions doesn't always work - ha. With her food and these I spend close to $100 a month.
Our cats LOVE it.
I had been using another brand of tuna flakes from another vendor, but it was no longer available. So, I tried this one. I was worried that the cats might not like this new brand as much as they liked the other one. I was wrong to worry. They seem to like this brand from Chewy even more than the old brand from the other vendor. And if the cats are happy, then I am VERY happy!!!
My fussy cat
I was hoping this would work as a food topper for my fussy cat. It did not. My other cat who will eat almost anything will eat it though. I wish I had purchased the smaller bag to try but I was hopeful she would approve of it.
My cat gives it a “B”
I use it as one of the toppers for my cat’s food. I kind of scrunch it up in my hands and sprinkle it on top of his food. He is a very “picky” to put it nicely :) but it helps me make sure he eats. He’s on raw and canned so no “crack” kibble for him
larger thicker flakes
they like these “thicker” ones better than the original. BOTH cats eat it, so that’s great!
This is a winner!
My two cats love this, they look forward to having some every morning. Even the 'dust' can be sprinkled on their canned food, so nothing goes to waste. I keep that 'dust' in a small container for when they get their canned food. I like healthy treats for them, and I switched to grain free foods and treats - Vet's advice - and this has reduced vomiting and hairballs greatly. I used to clean up little messes every week, but now it's only occasionally monthly. If they're happy, I'm happy.
Good but ...
I have bought the Cat-Man-Doo Bonito treats in a shaker bottle in the past. It was extremely easy to sprinkle on my cat's food. But I can't find that anywhere anymore. So I bought this. Now, my cat still loves this but the majority of the bag are these huge thin strips. And boy does it smell. Watch out handling it because your pet will "love" your hands until you can wash them. So it is harder to add to my cat's food as a topper but it still worked.
