Does the waste compartment smell if you use every 2 days? Or does it lock in odors?

The Neater Scooper is not designed to seal in odor or store litter. The Neater Scooper is designed to scoop cat waste directly into the bag. When you are finished scooping, you should tie the bag handles, remove the bag, and dispose of it. The bags will seal the odor in when the handles are tied to eliminate smell in the trash can.

Are all the litter bags(for:neater scoop car litter scoop) scented?

These bags contain a fresh scent that helps to conceal odor after disposal.

Is it ok to use the scoop without the baggies? The litter I use is flushable so I would be putting it in the toilet, not a trash can.

It is not required to use a bag with this scoop.

Well designed according to picture online

This just was not the thing I thought as I was purchasing online. I really wanted something that contained the litter in the container until it was full. I guess

Great with crystal litter

I've been using the Neater Scooper for years with crystal litter in the Scoop Free automatic box. Dessicated poop is stored under the box's ramp and quickly begins

I've been using the Neater Scooper for years with crystal litter in the Scoop Free automatic box. Dessicated poop is stored under the box's ramp and quickly begins to smell. I use the Neater Scooper to remove the poo and toss it in the trash. The scooper isn't great with clumping clay litter. The opening isn't tall enough to accommodate large clumps of pee.

Not the revolutionary scooper I was hoping for

I like the concept and was excited to buy this, but the execution just wasn’t that convenient. The bag and container doesn’t hold much, so you’re just going through

I like the concept and was excited to buy this, but the execution just wasn’t that convenient. The bag and container doesn’t hold much, so you’re just going through multiple bags that you have to attach to the scooper. Regular stainless steel scooper is still superior to this unfortunately.

Not happy with product

Doesn’t word as well as it should. Especially if you have to scoop more then once. The poop just falls out where it is sopposed to stay in. Never came in pink. Would

4 cat household -- too small

Holding area is not large enough for households with more than 2 cats. For a single cat owner, it would be fine.

It comes with 15 bags and it does scoop well there is a bit of a learning curve to not accidentally end up scooping most of the litter into the reservoir but once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty good. I do have to say if you have more than one cat and you’re not scooping every day or every other day you’re gonna find that reservoir is a little small. I have tidy cat lightweight litter so at first it was a challenge, not to scoop up and put litter in with all the little goodies.

Loved the idea of this, but the execution was dismal. If your cat leaves a pee ball the size of a golf ball or smaller then you might like this product. Or, if kitty leaves a pee ball closer to the size of a tennis ball then you can forget having it go through the gate into the plastic baggie liner. It worked great for the poops, but that’s just half the job, right? For me this was $20 down the toilet. Save your money.
