Itll be great for owners who only put collars like this on their cat for a day trip or something because it genuinely wont last past that. Ive had it for less than a week and its already coming apart. I was immediately disappointed with the quality due to the price (the back felt like cardboard to me) but it was cute anyways so got over it. 6 days later and its literally falling apart. My cat is young and active so that could play a huge part in it but like seriously. Glad Chewy is understanding in their policies because not even a week of use before its coming apart is crazy.

The threading came apart and fabric separated after 3 months. Occasionally the collar does fall off, but our little man is very attached to it and brings it to us

Safety hazard

This collar is super cute and made our little guy look so dapper. As many other commenters have stated, it did start to fray rather quickly, but we weren’t too bothered

This collar is super cute and made our little guy look so dapper. As many other commenters have stated, it did start to fray rather quickly, but we weren’t too bothered until today. While Tommy was grooming himself, the black backing clung to his sandpapery tongue and got stuck. He started gagging on it and wigging out. He tried to unstick it using his claws, and then his claw got stuck in his cheek and he gave himself a half Glasgow smile. When I got ahold of him and removed the collar, he wasn’t breathing, was gagging and salivating profusely, and bleeding from his mouth. I can’t tell if his throat was bleeding too, he might’ve gotten a claw down there too. I’m sure not all cats are as uncoordinated as Tommy, but it’s just not worth taking on the choking hazard in exchange for cuteness.

Saw this while shopping collars for another cat and thought it was handsome. A couple hours in, My guy was grooming his chest and one of the fabric ends got in his mouth and stuck on his tooth. I'm sure the breakaway clasp would have worked as intended, but the cat panicked, then I panicked and got it off right away. I'm sure this wouldn't happen to all cats. Mine is always trying to lick his chest. I was easily able to remove the tie leaving the collar intact so we'll still enjoy the nice fabric.

Expensive for Quality

Very cute collar and looks very good on my handsome boy but I purchased it about a month ago and it hasn’t held up to his playful spirit. I never catch him chewing

Very cute collar and looks very good on my handsome boy but I purchased it about a month ago and it hasn’t held up to his playful spirit. I never catch him chewing or scratching at it but he’s very rambunctious on the cat tree. The fabric has completely frayed on one side and the other side is starting to look similar. I’ve purchased $3 collars that hold up much better in comparison to this $19 one. Bummed that it fell apart so quickly. Wouldn’t purchase again unless pricing came way down as it would need to be replaced very often.
