It's a nice bowl, feels higher quality than cheaper ones, no defects in the glaze or finish, open base for east cleaning and drying. But, it seems shallow for a dog, I suspect the wide cat bowl was just reused with a different print for dogs. I'd prefer a slightly deeper bowl because dogs are messy eaters compared to cats.
