They love it!!!
My 2 goldens love to play together and we go through many different tug toys and balls. So I decided to try something different. From the moment it came out of the box, they were jockeying for control. They just LOVED it. Of course the teeth did shred some of the fabric and I did some repairs but they love it so much. And they can play inside with it. I will definitely be reordering it!!!
It's not a chew toy, it's a tug toy.
My German Shepard loves this toy. I willingly replace it once every 6-9 months because as a tug toy, which is what it's made for, this thing is great. it's been one of his favorite toys for 4 years now. My dog is an athletic working and protection dog and his bite force is fierce, not to mention his strength, and this toy withstands a lot of play before it's finally destroyed. And it goes slow after the first rip, why because it has 4 places to still play tug with, and the areas are sectioned off with seams so when one goes they all don't go at once. Not to mention it's easy for a person and dog to get a good grip on and really pull. However, he doesn't use it as a chewy toy, it's a play and training tool. Most of the reviews that are 1 or 2 stars state their dog or pup just chewed it up, well, if you just offer this toy up to a dog or pup on it's own, without intending to play with them what else are they supposed to do with it, of course they'll chew, it's stuffed and that's what most dogs would do. Let's be fair and offer reviews which are relevant. If you want a chewy toy get a kong or bone, don't purchase a stuffed tug toy and expect it to hold up to being chewed on, none of them will. Play with your dog with it, take it away after play if your worried they'll chew it.
Not nearly tough enough
Well, I had high hopes as my boys LOVE to play tug. This lasted 5 minutes. They had enjoyed it! But was hoping to get at least a few days out of it.
Love these!!
My dog absolutely loves these!!! They do get torn up but that is to be expected. They are dog toys. But they do last quite a long time. I buy them in bulk and always have extras on hand.
For my Shiba
My Shiba Loves it. It's holding up okay so far, not perfect or as well as you would hope but it's safe enough to still play with. He loves this toy. It doesn't squeak but if it did he's probably lose his mind.
Love to play tug of war!
I love this toy because it helps protect my hands when playing tug of war. My tough chewer can still get through to the stuffing though. But it is a great product!
Poor quality
This product ripped immediately and my dog is small!
split seams
Took about 15 minutes for the dogs to split a seam on the toy. I was supervising them and not allowing them to chew it at all. Find that very disappointing
Not very durable
My old lab LOVED this toy, so I was very excited to see that it is still being made! I immediately bought this for my black lab puppy (6mos). Within one hour, he had chewed it apart at the seams and ripped the stuffing out. I had to take it away so he didn’t swallow too much. I may try this again when he is no longer teething and wishing to destroy everything.
It’s still snowing
My dogs loved the texture but they didn’t last very long. They shredded them within a day. I am still picking up the snow from the yard a week later
