Can the XL size fit and hold a mastiff?

The Large dog house is for dogs up to 80 pounds and X-Large dog house is for dogs up to 150 pounds.

Is this house rain / weather proof? Can a door be inserted to avoid rain going inside ?

This dog house is water resistant. The material will not absorb water. Door flaps are available through the manufacturer's website.

Will it work for a young Sulcatta tortoise outdoor habitat? Will construction material withstand a low wattage heat lamp? Tortoise measures 12 inches from head to back. Fast growing.

While the New Age Pet ecoFLEX Bunk Style Dog House would be suitable for a tortoise, ensure that any heat lamp used can never be allowed to contact the ECOFLEX material. Heating lamps will need to be used in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

Great and easy build

We bought this for our 3 dogs (husky, med. sized mix and new puppy). Was an easy build, but a couple of pieces were broken when we unboxed it. Box had no damage

We bought this for our 3 dogs (husky, med. sized mix and new puppy). Was an easy build, but a couple of pieces were broken when we unboxed it. Box had no damage on it. We were still able to build and broken pieces don’t see to effect it too much. does seem like it will help keep cold, rain and snow out.

XL eco flex bunk house

If I could give it 0 stars I would. DO NOT BUY for large dog. Wolfie is 70 pounds and this is an XL but won’t even begin to fit him. This is completely false advertisement

Fell apart very easily. Terrible material. Don't not buy if your dog loves to chew. They can easily tear it apart.

This is a high quality structure. Parts and pieces were labeled for easy assembly but it did require two people for some steps. I used fence stain to protect the house and match our fence. However, some pieces bowed while drying which required a little muscle to make a good fit during assembly.
