Could you stack 2 on top of one another?

Stacking two units on top of each other is not recommended. New Age Pet ECOFLEX Cozy Critter Chateau Small Pet Habitat is not designed or weight-rated for vertical stacking, and placing one unit on top of another could compromise stability and safety.

Can the top grate be opened? Or maybe not even installed?

The Cozy critter chateau can be opened from the top, but we do not recommend not having the top.

Beautiful- better than I expected!!

This came packaged perfectly and was unbelievably easy to put together. No extra tools were required. It is even better than I expected. We have two free roaming

This came packaged perfectly and was unbelievably easy to put together. No extra tools were required. It is even better than I expected. We have two free roaming bunnies but wanted a cage to fit a decent sized litter box and have the darker side for sleeping. The cage is wide enough that there is plenty of room in front of the litter box for them to move and even lay if they wanted. I’m happy that no hay can escape behind it and that the bunnies can’t hide underneath as that was making extra mess with a previous hutch. This looks like something that belongs inside a house and is aesthetically pleasing! Would definitely recommend this bunny house to others!

Unfortunately, it arrived with broken pieces, and my husband had to tape it back together just to make it usable. If the company could improve the packaging to protect it better during shipping, this would be a great product.

This cage is very nice sturdy easy tobput together , customer service was excellent as i needed one part to be replaced do to damage while shipped. My piggy likes the cage ill be using it for outdoors for my 2 pigglets and put a gate around it . For guinea pigs i would say is better something that has easily access from top . This cage is great for bunny 🐰 that goes in at night time or during day time when no one is home and bunny cant be free in house roaming.

Assembles pretty easily, Into a very nice looking pet cage. We did not use the inside partition as it gave more room inside for my bun to move around. Because the back and one side are mostly solid, it is pretty dark inside. My bun is free roam during the day, so she is only in there at night, so not much of a concern for us, but if i was keeping small pets like guinea pigs in there, id be concerned it would be too dark. The manufacturer should consider adding another screened opening on the back, so more light can come through. All and all, its a nice looking piece of furniture. Sturdy, doors are easy to close and lock. We are happy with it.

I’m using the Cozy Critter Chateau for my two guinea pigs, and I can honestly say they love it. The second I moved them in, they started exploring every corner and popcorning around like they’d just discovered a five-star resort. The quality really impressed me. The material feels sturdy and well-made, and it’s so easy to clean. No lingering smells or soaked wood, just a quick wipe and everything looks fresh again. The setup went smoothly and didn’t take long at all. Once it was together, it felt solid and secure. I really like how much space there is inside. My guinea pigs have room to run around, but they also have a cozy hideaway when they want quiet time. The multiple doors make feeding and cleaning super easy, and the whole design just looks nice in my home. It’s built to last, easy to maintain, and my guinea pigs are clearly happy in it. Seeing them so content makes it completely worth it.

It is a lot bigger than I expected. I do wish the top had a way to lift up or come off for cleaning. But otherwise it is a great, sturdy product.
