Is the material of this feeder safe to be disinfected in a diluted bleach solution?

Yes, the New Age Pet ECOFLEX Feathered Friends Beak Buffet Bird Feeder can be disinfected using a diluted bleach solution. ECOFLEX® is a non-toxic wood–polymer composite that is moisture-resistant and safe to clean with mild disinfectants, including diluted bleach, as long as the solution is used properly. For best results, we recommend: Using a 10% bleach solution (1 part bleach to 9 parts water) Letting it sit briefly on the surface Rinsing thoroughly with clean water Allowing the feeder to dry completely before placing it back outdoors for the birds

First of all it was extremely easy to put together. The instructions were easy to follow and only required a screwdriver. Took me less than 5 min. It feels very sturdy. My only worry is that the screws are on the very top, so I am expecting them to rust honestly, but otherwise I really like the quality of the materials. Although I knew the measurements I was a bit surprised at the size of it. These pictures are from having it out less than an hour. They seem to like it.

Very easy to put together. Feels extremely sturdy and well made. Has 4 separate areas to put feed in so you could put different types of food in each if you want

Very easy to put together. Feels extremely sturdy and well made. Has 4 separate areas to put feed in so you could put different types of food in each if you want. Bottom portion is made of a mesh material so if water gets inside it can run through and allow food to dry out. The top is flat so you can lay extra things on top - we added a piece of dried sunflower and millet.
