This birdhouse is a great value It’s big and solid and you won’t have to replace it for many years The walls seem like pressed wood type stuff, BUT that’s only a small part of the construction of this house. The roof seems like recycled plastic-impervious to weather The walls have their structural components of what seems like recycled plastic I would buy many of these bird houses because their made of recycled plastic AND they’ve got parts that are pressed wood type of thing that ma is them light. The instructions are decent until you get to the roof-not super clear what side goes toes d the front The main tricky thing is trying to screw in the front. It’s not super tricky but it’s best to assemble this in a well lighted environment so you can see where the screw holes are Contains one extra long screw-but truly, it’s straightforward to assemble

Love this durable little bird house! It’s about 12 inches tall and 5.5 inches square. Directions are easy to understand and, armed with only a Phillips head screwdriver, I had it assembled in 10 minutes! The front panel opens all the way up, for maximum cleaning; and the front bottom lock keeps the panel firmly in place while birds are residing inside! Although not necessary, my only negative is that I wish it had a perch under the opening where the birds go in and out. Can’t wait to scout my property for the best tree to hang this lovely bird house on before winter arrives!

I was very excited to get this birdhouse. I have about 32 bluebird houses that I add 2 to 4 each year and update any that need repairs. The roof of the birdhouse came broken. There was a very small line of glue that held the pieces together. The edging/corners appear to be some sort of composite, which I thought would be very good for weather resistance, but the composite has holes that I think are going to be a problem for Bees and other bugs getting in there so I will caulk those closed prior to putting it up. I like that they are using screws instead of staples, but I didn’t expect it to come unassembled. The pictures were very easy to follow to assemble it quickly. There is a gap in one portion of the side that will not tighten up. The roof will have to be re-glued because it’s too crucial for bird health to not have it solid. I think the main part of the house is made of some sort of particle board and I do not think it’s going to last more than a year in Wisconsin weather. Only time will tell if I’m right. All my other houses are made of solid wood, cedar or other type of wood, and I prefer that over particleboard. I think the front being glued on around the opening is not going to last if the glue isn’t lasting in a dry shipping box. It is nice and heavy, but a bird house doesn’t need to be heavy, just well built. I think the company perhaps tried to rush it through because the front is messy with paint or stain or glue, glued roof was broken, gaps in side need to be caulked, front panel screw wouldn’t stay in, so found my own longer screw to hold door, and openings in composite areas on top and bottom. Too much wrong with it for me to ever want to buy another one. I want my birds to be safe from the elements and have a solid house that they can come back to year after year and I do not feel at this house will withstand time at all.

I received the large size of this bird house, and am quite happy with the product. Assembly was straight forward, taking about 5 minutes total. The siding and roof material are weather resistant, with a very heavy duty feel. Having wood composite material makes for an easy to wipe clean surface that shouldn’t rot or crack when exposed to rain or cold weather. The front flap also opens so that you can easily wipe the inside clean. The design is sleek and simple. Colors are true to what you see in the pictures, with a cream base and brown accents.

Very sturdy birdhouse! I didn’t read carefully so I didn’t realize I needed to assemble it but assembly was fairly easy. I did it myself and all I needed was a screwdriver. It looks really nice and should blend in with any outdoor environment very nicely. The front is hinged so it can be cleaned out easily. It’s also vented. The roof had the smallest scratch but other than that it was perfect and once it is hung that won’t be obvious at all. Looking forward to using it this spring!

Not easy to assemble. I had to glue the roof together because it came it 2 pieces/broken? The pieces didn’t fit together precisely, and the front-facing door doesn’t really work. But it’s awful cute. I’m sure the birds won’t mind and I hope they use it when I get it hung up!

Appears to be sturdy and can open from the front. This arrived and needed to be put together but was quick to assemble. While I wish it could be opened from the top instead or perhaps both options. Colors will blend with nature and hung on a post and will still need to see how it weathers.

This is a quality product, no question. I am excited to see what the birds think once we are closer to nesting season. That said, it is a much bigger project to piece together than anticipated. Just be aware that it is not complete when received.

This birdhouse comes unassembled . Not too hard to put together but it takes a few minutes. The materials are good quality and sturdy but the tall narrow design limits the species that will be attracted and be able to use it. Aldo the entry hole is way too tiny . Not even a junco or most sparrows could fit through it.
