It is very important to keep the barn clean for healthy chickens. The easy to assemble design will be appreciated when it is time to clean. Remove one or more roof panels by reversing step 28 and 27 of the assembly instructions to have access to the entire inside of the house. We recommend using a detergent with strong grease cutting capabilities and safe to use around you, your kids and your chickens. After washing, rinse and then wipe down the panels. Don't forget to clean the inside of the roof panels. Allow the interior to air dry thoroughly and reassemble. Once the house is clean and dry, re-assemble the roof panels.

Larger than expected and work for the purpose

Overall I am happy with this coop. It is much larger than I expected which was good for me. You have to follow the directions exactly in order to get it put together,

Overall I am happy with this coop. It is much larger than I expected which was good for me. You have to follow the directions exactly in order to get it put together, but it is certainly doable. The problems I ran into is there were several slots that broke off and had to be glued back together but they will be a weak point. I chose not to put the dividers in the coop which were the most affected areas. You cannot open the roof making access very challenging for cleaning. I purchased some trays to put on the floor to make it easier to manage, but the trays don't fit perfectly so there will still be challenges with it. The roost bars were far too easy to knock out of place so I put screws above them to lock them in place. If you are handy and are able to find solutions to the problems you will encounter this is a pretty good coop. If you are looking for a high quality product that won't give you problems, you will want something higher quality.

I have a couple of these. The first one I purchase a year ago back has been great. Still looks good. The next one I purchased was very fragile and broke in several places while putting it together. It didn’t seem to matter how gentle I was. Very disappointed. I don’t know if they’ve changed their product but the second one is not going to last long. Another issue with these is my chickens want to sleep on top of it and it’s constantly covered in poop. I still like the first one. Not sure I will buy again.

How poorly this was made

This is going to get chickens killed if used. Animals will easily pull off the lay box which is on the side. So poorly made rain will get in through the laying

Don't buy!

This is a disaster. Holes were drilled wrong on the posts.The roost poles are too short to reach from side to side. Not to mention they are flat metal about an inch

Brought for my chickens to get through the winter

Terrible Ventilation, holes in bottom, no easy way to clean

I'm extremely disappointed with the bottom of this "chicken barn". There are four large holes, big enough for a snake to easily climb into and cause harm to my poultry

I'm extremely disappointed with the bottom of this "chicken barn". There are four large holes, big enough for a snake to easily climb into and cause harm to my poultry. This is extremely unsafe and I'm not entirely sure the purpose that it serves. There are only a few open slots on the top back of the coop for ventilation which isn't nearly enough for the chickens safety. Not to mention, there isn't an easy way to clean. The roof is secured on with screws with no way to open the lid for clean out. You'd have to drag all the shavings. out through the front door. Save your money and buy something better.
