The bar spacing of this cage is 1/2 of an inch, which is wide enough for small animals like hamsters and mice to escape.

This hutch would be suitable for a bearded dragon as long as the appropriate food, substrate, and other materials are provided. The ecoFLEX material does withstand heat well. Heat lamps should never be placed directly onto the ecoFLEX material.

What are the front and top parts mesh or plexi-glass?

Before I complain, Nice customer service from Chewy. A+. Product not so much. The hutch was so flimsy that I couldn't assemble it. The plastic snapped immediately

I purchased this hutch my bunny and was soon to be disappointed. It leaks from the corners so terribly because the pieces of the hutch don’t fit properly. When I was assembling it it was difficult to put together because some pieces that weren’t quite the right size. After having my bunny in it for only a short amount of time it is already showing how poor quality it is.

This is my second time buying this cage. It's not made of wood which I love because hedgehogs are prone to getting mites. I've had two hedgehogs who has no problem

This is my second time buying this cage. It's not made of wood which I love because hedgehogs are prone to getting mites. I've had two hedgehogs who has no problem getting up or down. No gap in the stairs either like other cages. It's super easy to build and inside portion comes apart easy for cleaning. I don't recommend putting the wheels on. They are very cheap and break. The only thing I with they'd fix is the lid for the little house. It doesn't fit like it's supposed to. I broke my first cage trying to make it fit. Shipping was on time. Highly recommend! My hedgie has mites right now so that's why there is not much bedding in the picture

sage loves this cage

so far so good! i had no issues putting this cage together except for the top hut which could be took out anyway but we kept it as it ended up fitting! it’s easy

Unexpected risk/reward

Omg. I can’t express how much I love this hutch. I bought it as a risk for my bearded dragon expecting it to not work at all and it’s so perfect. A few alterations

Omg. I can’t express how much I love this hutch. I bought it as a risk for my bearded dragon expecting it to not work at all and it’s so perfect. A few alterations (installing tube uv, sealing drawer, adding tile) and it’s just so awesome. My guy is so happy, holds heat well. Can’t rave enough
