Are the freeze dried bits tiny?

Each freeze-dried nugget weighs approx 1g | 0.035oz and are approximately 3cm long but can vary in size and are soft so can be easily broken into smaller pieces. In a 40g bag you are looking at approximately 40 nuggets.
