Ease of Feeding

Bubbles is 14-year Beagle rescue; she had few teeth remaining when we adopted her, so she has difficulty eating things that are large. These snack sticks are easy

Bubbles is 14-year Beagle rescue; she had few teeth remaining when we adopted her, so she has difficulty eating things that are large. These snack sticks are easy to snap a small piece off and feed as a treat. I use it for training and as a reward when she takes her pills without spitting them out. I also carry 3 or 4 sticks with me when we take are daily walks to toss at dogs that may start to follow us. As soon as they are distracted, Bubbles and I make a fast exit. (I do carry PetSafe animal deterrent spray for more persistent dogs if they insist on following us.) Bubbles has no trouble eating the sticks, and it appears she likes the Chicken/Sweet Potato recipe the best.

Perfect for Small Dogs

Poika is super picky with treats, as a Shih Tzu should be since they are superior to all humans and other dogs (just ask them, they will tell you). He, for years

Poika is super picky with treats, as a Shih Tzu should be since they are superior to all humans and other dogs (just ask them, they will tell you). He, for years has only eaten a couple different kinds of treats, and only if I beg him to because Mommy has spent money and hates throwing things away. So, after many attempts to get Poika a treat he will like, he finally approved these Newman's Own Snack Sticks. Yeah.. a win is a win.. and we will be ordering more of these. They are just the right size for his little mouth. They are soft and easy to chew and don't cause any tummy upset. Grab some and see if your dog approves, because Poika says they are lip smacking good.

MY little girl loves these. Great to bribe her to stop barking when I am on the phone. Also when I break them in half she tosses in the air and plays with them..definite

Good Treat Staple

We have an elderly Chihuahua who can't eat tough treats any more so these soft sticks are his jam. We give him 1 almost daily and he loves it! Both flavors too

It’s a great snack for them and good that they have something to chew that isn’t too hard to eat. Diva doesn’t have a lot of teeth and Desi is tiny and so its perfect

I just think Paul Newman wouldn't put his name on something that wasn't any good and my two dogs do really love the snacks. The only problem is they woof them down
