At this time, Newman's Own does not count sticks during packaging. Instead, they use a weighing system to ensure the packed bags have the correct weight as stated on the label. According to the product specification, each stick weighs approximately 5 grams, and the package size is 396 grams. Using weight as a measure is compliant to labeling regulations.

Why are these not labeled Organic?

My dog likes the pup-peroni sticks, and decided to give these as a try as a chicken alternative. He seems to like them alot, a little worried that they seem to be drying out even in the sealed bag faster than they can eat them as I only give them as a once and a while snack and not an every single day snack. Will probably put them in a different container, but otherwise they're good.

I’m giving 5 stars for Newsman’s Own because they’re an excellent product with good ingredients (no fillers or junk added). Newsman’s Own also donates all their profits to compassionate causes, which is an added plus! Unfortunately, my dog was found to have a chicken allergy after I made this purchase so she can’t have these anymore. BUT! Chewy gave me a refund & didn’t even ask for the order to be sent back! I’m sure whomever I pass these into, their dog(s) will be just as happy as mine was with the taste & texture!

I was surprised that these were very fresh. They smelled good. There were a lot in the bag and a great value for the money. My dog gets allergies and scratches

I was surprised that these were very fresh. They smelled good. There were a lot in the bag and a great value for the money. My dog gets allergies and scratches her ears and drops one down. She was a bit allergic to these. I did finish the pack but won’t order them again. I did know chicken may be a trigger for her so that was my fault. I’d recommend these.

I got these treats for my service dog to use for training. There are so many in the package! The price was so low and I was so surprised at how good they are. The treat sticks break into about 4 to 5 small training bits if needed so they work so well for on-the-go training. 100% recommend.
