Please note, this product is effective when used as directed and has been approved for use by the EPA. Like all topically applied products, crystallization, clumping, streaking or spiking of the fur, or a greasy appearance can be seen at the application site — a cosmetic issue. This is normal and will dissipate over time. The degree to which these occur and their duration depends on the application technique, hair coat length and texture as well as additional environmental factors. Once the product is dry, light brushing will improve the coat’s appearance. It is important when applying the product that it is applied to the skin and not superficially.

I've used NextStar x now for several months. It seems to work well. I have had to order for an extra dose with my monthly dose due to finding fleas on my Shi Tzu

I've used NextStar x now for several months. It seems to work well. I have had to order for an extra dose with my monthly dose due to finding fleas on my Shi Tzu Dash. I don't know if the dosage was missing something or the fleas were just very active and plentiful at the time. Here it is December and I will have to buy an extra dose to make sure I get rid of all of them.

It Works!

Only in '24 & '25 have I even had to use a flea med for my chihuahuas. In '24 I tried several different OTC applications, and it was a challenge to get rid of them..

Only in '24 & '25 have I even had to use a flea med for my chihuahuas. In '24 I tried several different OTC applications, and it was a challenge to get rid of them... but this year I tried the Nextstar Flea & Tick spot treatment, and on the first try (after unsuccessfully using some shampoo and other spot treatments) the problem was solved. I keep them on their monthly treatment, and all is great!!

Works great and better that anything else I have tried in the past and it is inexpensive and just as good as nexguard. Been using this for over a year now and haven't had any fleas. It completely protects her from any other animals that may have fleas. Loving the protection and price.

I think all the fle & tick over the counter no longer works, I have tried 2 others and they don't work either. Time for prescription strength..I hate poisoning my dog with these pesticides and then they don't even work !!!

Doggy approved :)

My doggy is just a steady 11 pounds shes a mixed breed Jack Russell w/ Chihuahua short soft hair, so irritation does happen when humid but never seen a reaction

My doggy is just a steady 11 pounds shes a mixed breed Jack Russell w/ Chihuahua short soft hair, so irritation does happen when humid but never seen a reaction to a serum or shampoo as of yet and shes 7 years old. This product did not cause irritation but I do suggest rubbing the serum evenly throughout the hairs evenly to prevent irritation. I feel the irritation can be caused if you just place it on one spot of your dog rather than evenly distributing throughout the coat. She did not have any fleas and its been about almost 3 weeks of use of this product. My doggy approved :)
