Is this waterproof? I’m concerned if the dog jumps into the pool or lake with it on.

This tracker holder is not waterproof however, the Apple AirTag (sold separately) is water resistant. It is rated IP67 (maximum depth of 1 meter up to 30 minutes) under IEC standard 60529.

Will this holder hold something else that is not an Apple AirTag, i.e. a different info tag that is 1 1/4" round?

It was very visible.

We used it to be sure they could be seen because they were always in the road chasing everything that moved, from squirrels and chipmunks to horses and trucks.

Not ideal for small dogs

Works well to protect the air tag but is a bit too large on my small-medium dogs, it hangs a bit too low on their collars.

Sturdy

I like that the clip locks so that my dog can’t scratch it off. The only downside would be size, so if you have a small dog, you may want to go with one of the holders
