With this uniquely designed tag cover, you won’t be woken up by your dog moving about, and your neighbors won’t hear the sound of your dog’s tags during nighttime walks. This would have been great if my dog hadn't chewed it up!

I love this product - it was(is) a great way to protect the ID tag engraving from rubbing or wearing off, which has always been a problem for me, especially with multiple tags. What's the point of a tag if the contact info is illegible? However, my pup is a chewer and she's also obviously very flexible, too, because she got these (I bought 2) in her mouth and chewed the silencers right off :-( Kids...what are ya gonna do? Anyway - this is a great product. I could clearly read both sides of the tag through the silicone. I would recommend the clear vs. a colored one. I think colored ones would be more difficult to read through. BTW, I didn't buy this for the silencing properties but it certainlyI love this product - it was(is) a great way to protect the ID tag engraving from rubbing or wearing off, which has always been a problem for me, especially with multiple tags. As mentioned, I primarily bought this to protect the surface of the tag(s). I will try this again when my pup has passed her chewing phase. 2 1/2 years and counting...sigh.
I do plan to buy 2 of these for my other girl and hopefully, my younger one won't feel the need to chew it right off her neck!
Finally, I had a question about this before I purchased and as always, Customer Service phone rep was top-notch, answered my questions and even placed the order for me. I love Chewy!!… more
Perfect for noisy tags

My small dogs tags would rattle so bad when she would walk around sometimes they would scare her. The thunder cover fit her tags perfect. She is a small 10 lb Min Pin. The Thunder Cover is soft and does not poke or stab into my min pin as she lays down. It is also attractive and easy to read the name tag through the pouch. I will be ordering one for my larger dog just because of the look and feel. I recommend these to silence any dog tags or to put the tags in and make them softer to your dogs neck. Love this product.
It’s very very quiet

This is the first tag cover I have seen like this. It’s a very heavy duty rubber so it seems like it will last a long time. And it certainly does a good job of keeping the tags quiet and out of the food bowl. The only tiny catch is it’s a tiny bit tight getting larger tags in. But not enough of an issue to not make it a good buy.
works as described

It does only hold about 3 tags which is ok. We leave the tag with our address and phone number out of the pouch so it can be seen easily should Luke ever be lost. His dog license tag is on cheap metal that doesn't last very long. This pouch keeps it secure and quiet. The ring attachment would have to be removed and the tags taken out to view them. The silicone appears sturdy.
ok but not for active dogs

It does work at keeping the tags silenced, however, I'm on my third for one of my dogs (1 year old Golden/Lab mix) male who moves a lot, and the plastic ring to attach it to his collar is flimsy and breaks. I also received one that was sealed shut and I didn't want to ruin it with using a knife to open. Chewy sent me a replacement for that.
great for protection

One of the two tags my dog wears had become so scratched and damaged it could hardly be read. This cover not only makes things quieter, it will protect the new tag the vet gave her
Not the right part

This only works if tags are new. Unfortanly my boxer wear
out cheap tag loops in less than year. So there no way for tags to attach to collar with this product. I modified it and pray
my boxer dosen't loose tags

Chewy has been THE BEST for supplying all of my new puppy needs and must-haves.
Silencer works great and protects important info on tags, too.

These tag silencers work great especially at night if you're a light sleeper. I bought 2 thinking I'd silence the rabies and licenses of both dogs, but after one lost his battle with cancer, I used his to cover the other dogs ID and microchip tags and it worked great. Now I'm looking for another dog and will be purchasing 2 more soon.
Helps keep white fur white

Her dog license was causing her fur to be a dull gray. This did the trick. Her rabies and license fit in the same holder
