I’ve been giving Cheerios trying to get them to use it and they only use it if I give them Cheerios, which kind of defeats the purpose. One of them will use it to go down but will not use it to grow up and one of them will not use it at They’re both about 22 pounds one is a Shih Tzu and one is a Havanese. I bought it because my senior winnie was having difficulty using the hard steps he has used up until now to climb off my bed. These steps are great because the material is sturdy and non slippery. The steps are soft so it is more like a hill yet easy to climb up because it is not slippery soft but sturdy. My senior daschund took to it right away and climbs up and down it with ease. Great product.

The steps come vacuum-sealed, and it takes a day or two for them to firm up, so at first they seem flimsy, but give them time -- they're actually great :) Aoife (the German Shepherd) can stand on them with no problem -- and actually I've stood on them to get things as well, lol. The steps also seem reasonably durable -- they've withstood Aoife's claws so far (about three months). Overall, a really great inexpensive option for pet steps! :)

I appreciate these high-density foam steps more and more as our senior cat grows older. The rounded steps ensure they’re not tripping on any edges as they climb the stairs. Foam is holding up after a few months of continuous use without any sagging detected. Grateful that our senior cat can live a more comfortable life with these rounded foam stairs, as they have had hip surgery and their joints don’t click as much due to less impact of jumping up and down from surfaces. Appreciate these much more than square steps!

Bought this for my elderly lab mix, Butters, with back problems because she must sleep on the bed. Yowser, I love her dearly, but it's been a couple weeks and she still can't get it. Gets her front paws on it okay, but she spreads her back legs to avoid stepping on it...smh. She did it a couple times, with me straddling her to keep her straight. I showed my other dogs twice and they got it. My other dogs are cattle dog mixes. It's a little narrow for her, but not bad. It supports her weight. It's really pretty nice. I have stairs, but those freaked her out. A ramp would stick out too far into my small bedroom. These stairs are a nice in between. We'll keep working on it.

Unable to clean!!

Do not buy this! They are great stairs, however they are made out of foam and there is no protective layer. So if the dog peeson it, you can take the cover off,

Do not buy this! They are great stairs, however they are made out of foam and there is no protective layer. So if the dog peeson it, you can take the cover off, but the cover is not waterproof so the pee soaks into the foam and there is virtually no way clean it. I didn’t even have these for a week, and now I have to buy a whole new set because they are ruined. Do not buy foamstairs that don’t have a leak proof liner.
