Nice Harness
I bought these for my pups to sleep in while camping in case they need to go out during the night. The only snaps are in the middle of the back so they will work well for that. The leg openings are large enough to prevent rubbing against their legs. The only minor issue was with sizing. I measured my Chigi and felt that he would need a large. When it arrived it was much too big. When I compared my three harnesses I found that the difference between small and medium was about 1/2 inch but the difference between medium and large was about 2 inchs. As always Chewy handled the problem immediately and sent me another medium which fits him fine.
Love this harness, 3 sizes now
Our cavalier King Charles has 2 and now ordering a 3rd one. One for less than 6 months, one afterwards, and now almost a year old he no longer fits in the previous one. This harness is secure. I’m not sure what another person was doing were the velcro came undone from their 12 lb dog pulling a lot. There’s a buckle and that should be secured over the velcro. This would prevent the velcro from coming undone. My cavalier is 16 lbs and a crazy puller. Even when he was around 12 lbs he didn’t get out of his harness. Measurement is pretty accurate on the description as well. Fit my dog every time. I do like how the clip to attach the leash is metal and not plastic.
Perfect harness!
I bought one of these a long time ago for my larger dog. He was always reactive when he saw other dogs so I needed a harness that he couldn't squirm out of. This harness works perfectly and has held up beautifully for years. Recently I adopted 2 Chihuahuas and bought one of these for each of them. They fit beautifully, are very secure with both Velcro and a buckle, easy on and off, easily adjustable for size, and soft and comfortable for them. My only suggestion would be in the small sizes perhaps the buckle and strap could also be proportionately smaller.
Very soft, not ease of use with a puppy
This harness is very soft and appears to be comfortable once it's on, but getting it on a moving puppy is a challenge. It takes several tries to get her feet through the leg openings, then pulled up, the velcro attached and the clip buckled before she wiggles out again. May work better as she gets a little older. Once it's own, works great to keep her securely fastened in.
Velcro and buckle harness
.Had one of these for 10 years but ring rusted (my fault). Was able to get new one. The old ones just buckled but the new ones have velcro for double fastening. I suppose it would also hug a little dog that needed that for anxiety. The mere sight of it at my house says "outing"
Love this harness so much!
This harness is perfect for my Yorkipoo who was pulling a lot on his walks. It is secure and comfortable. I love how it clips onto the leash on both sides so it will not come apart during walks. Great product.
Best harness ever
This is my 3rd set of harnesses for my dogs. The design is especially helpful for small dogs with large rib cages but small necks. And these harnesses are sewn and designed to withstand a lot!
Great Harness!
This harness works great for our little pup. I like how the velcro the the buckle are both on the back, as many of the other options I looked at have 2 or 3 buckles. I do need to get new one, but only because my pup has outgrown the size we got. Getting the same one, just a size up.
Bigger size
Toby outgrew his previous halter. I ordered a different style but he didn't like it so I donated it & bought the same style as his old one in a larger size. He likes to wear it all the time. When I put it on a shelf while bathing him, he brings it to me to put it one again. I think it makes him feel secure, sort of like a little Thunder shirt.
Not adjustable
I ordered 2 of these for my dogs. Both dogs are leash pullers. Even though the weigh about 12 pounds each, they have managed to release the Velcro. I was able to get to them before they worked themselves free. I will be returning these items.
